I purchased this because my car wouldn’t start. It was much cheaper than calling a tow truck, so I decided to give it a try—and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I was able to jump-start my car without connecting to another vehicle, which meant I could solve the problem on my own without needing help from anyone else. I initially chose it because of the affordable price, but after reading the manual while using it, I was surprised by how many great features it has. Positive: Appears to work well, Charging display indicator, Easy to use, and very reasonable price, especially when there is a discount code. Negative: Hard case not provided. I have been waiting to purchase one of these, and this jumper starter package is priced at an unbelievable value! I was stranded in the mountains with a flat and left the drivers side door open. I didn't know it at the time, but my automatic step was using power the whole time to remain open. I had gotten the tire replaced, jumped in the cab, turned on the ignition and...nothing. I was stranded. A truck drove by and a couple helpful gents jumped out with this tiny, lithium charger. My first thought was great, will this turnover my 5.7 liter engine? I waited a minute after it was attached and boom, it started right up, I was amazed! This unit now belongs in every car I have. For my own misfortune or someone else's. It has a digital readout, a flashlight, a compass(?), and a plug in for charging a phone! This is a quality unit that has the functionality to pay for itself on the first time it's used.

I really wanted to love this jump starter given the "5000A" rating, but it’s been a massive disappointment. Despite being fully charged, it couldn't even turn over my standard SUV engine on a chilly morning, leaving me stranded in my own driveway. The build quality feels incredibly cheap and plasticky, and the "compass" on the casing is basically a toy that points in a different direction every time I move. To make matters worse, the jumper cables are way too short, making it awkward to position the heavy unit safely under the hood. It works okay as a basic power bank for my phone, but as a life-saving car tool, it’s completely unreliable. Save your money and buy a brand that actually delivers on its power promises.
