I ordered these with the intention of pranking my mother. There are various annoying noises that you can choose from. I code the cricket because it seemed the most ‘natural noise’ to be coming from her house. So I turned it on and hid it near the living room and waited. I heard some chirps and waited for her to call to me. She didn’t and I waited . I waited to the point I was getting irritated with the sound. Frustrated went to her area and she said she didn’t hear anything and was sorry to ruin my fun. This confirms my mother is losing her hearing and I need to gift these to someone later. I assure you they are plenty loud, seem durable, and very giftable.

Not too bad there's definitely some good things and some bad things I love the amount of these devices that you get as previous packs I've gotten usually only come in packs of one or two and I don't want to just get rid of them stashing them at someone's house so to have several it doesn't feel as bad leaving them behind places so that's good love that there is a wide selection of different noises and it's nice that they come with the battery installed but the contact broken as to not drain it over time the bad just like previous ones I have button it's not nearly as loud as you would think or would want it to be if there's any kind of noise going on like somebody watching TV or cooking or doing dishes or showering or talking pretty much any real noise you're not really going to hear this going off however at night time when going to bed or at home alone doing nothing it's not too bad

These prank chips are absolutely hilarious. I have thought of so many different ways to stick these in places no one would suspect. The battery life seems to be pretty good. The sound lasted several days. The chips all seem to work and felt like a good quality chipboard. There was no adhesive included but would have been a great add. I got these to mess with my family and I love that it has a on/off switch and multiple sounds from beeps to crickets and even a cat. This is a lot of fun. This takes cr2032 batteries so order a pack of those too The value on these is good to expected. You get 6 chips for the cost and that gives this a good to expected value in my opinion and at the time of this review. Overall, These Chips are great fun for everyone involved. I would have no issues recommending these.

These prank chirpers have provided far more entertainment than I expected and are an excellent value for the money. I originally bought them to mess with my daughters and hid three in each of their rooms. I told them that once they found all three, they could return the favor by hiding them in my office. My wife quickly established that our bedroom was off limits! The functionality is great.
