    • Solid Dent Puller Kit That Gets the Job Done

I picked up this dent puller kit to do some bodywork at home, and overall it works pretty well. The slide hammer has a good amount of weight to it, which helps when pulling dents, and the handle has a solid non-slip grip that makes it easier to control. I used it on a truck panel and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. The different attachments give you some flexibility depending on the job, and the extension rod is helpful for reaching tighter spots. The tools feel fairly durable for the price and the slide hammer itself is built pretty sturdy. Setup is straightforward, and everything threads together easily. The carrying case is nice to keep the parts organized, although it’s not the toughest case out there. Overall it’s a good value if you want a dent puller kit for occasional bodywork or DIY repairs. The one I got was one of the lowest quality tools I have ever seen, but it works with a little help. The painted adapters all had big chunks of dry paint inside the thread area the needs to be removed before you can attach them to the tool, as the huge paint flake prevents them from connecting. The blow molded case was the thinnest one I had ever seen, it is plastic and I bet you could poke your finger through it if you tried. The main bar the the slide weight attaches to, is a hollow tube instead of a solid bar. The hand guard and impact point at the rear handle is only a thin fender washer, pinch point and metal splinter factory. The adapter that reduces from the hollow tube down to 5/8 thread, is the same as the lag screw adapter, and has limited thread engagement with certain applications and so it will be damaged very easily even with proper tool usage. Otherwise it had some impact, and I was able to perform the required task with ease. So it did the thing I bought it for, which was automotive spindle disassembly. ... show more

Like all of the Vevor products I've used this set is super heavy duty and thoughtfully complete with a great variety of attachments. I was kind of shocked at how huge this slide hammer was so keep in mind the measurements because the size I picked is huge! I've had smaller slide hammers in the past and none of them came with all the different shaped attachments like this does. I was able to use the V shaped attachments to get behind a bumper to pop out a small dent. The carrying case keeps it all conveniently stored. Overall its a great tool to have handy for popping something out like a dent or a stuck cap on something. Vevor is great as always!! ... show more
