I was worried that the magnets on the holder would not be strong enough to hold the phone. I was completely wrong. The magnets are strong and hold the phone with zero issues. It does come with an extra magnet you can add to a phone case or your phone incase you don't have iPhone but with a magsafe case there is no need for the extra magnet. I really like this product. Installing it was a little tricky with my car vent. It took two tries. The first time it fell while I was driving. This irritated me and I was going to send it back, but decided to give it another try. The reason I tried again, was due to the strong hold of the magnet. I worked at installing it again and made sure it was connected to the vent correctly. I also had to make sure it was tight enough. It has been working ever since without any issues. I even turn it slightly when I have to view my back up camera and turn it back. I thought this might loosen it up. It did not! I strongly recommend this product.
