I was going to buy an expensive machine but my husband talked me into buying this as a starter and I’m glad I did. No issue grinding beans. I like that I can make the cup volume more by holding the button longer. Steamer is a bit loud but it heats fast. Makes a good cup but I’m no expert or coffee snob. I like it better than some of my Starbucks I have gotten as of late. I discovered I could steam my chocolate and mint creamer and it tastes amazing. My not be “proper” but I don’t care it makes me happy. I’ll keep using until it dies.

I really like this machine, but when I try to get it to decale it doesn't work. Can I please get some help with this?

I received my machine in November, and it worked pretty good until the descaling light came on. I followed the instructions, but the water never came out of the brewing head only out of the steam tube. Tried it four times and then I called the number in the Manual. Had a very nice Lady asking to send a video of the machine not doing what it is supposed to do. I did and got an instruction video which I followed. But, unfortunately at this point, the machine is blinking and stuck in the descaling cycle and not working at all! So far customer service was quick and helpful but now I was told to expect to hear from the engineers in 1-3 days. I hope they are any good and can help me. Loved the machine, but four months is awfully early to break. I will update my review when I have heard from them. To be continued….

This home espresso machine model is the most efficient and effective I have ever had. Its cost is quickly offset by the savings accrued from my regular espresso consumption, taking into account the cost of the required ingredients such as beans, milk, and creams. To extend the lifespan of the machine and improve drink quality, it is recommended to replace its water filter based on the frequency of descaling. Checking the water reservoir 2-3 times weekly is also advised to ensure a smooth operation. It is essential to follow proper cleaning and classification guidelines to prevent any issues from arising. This machine is straightforward, with a powerful blending capability of 1350w, significantly higher than the regular espresso machine's 360w blending power. Consequently, this espresso machine enables me to make the best blend ratio for espresso for myself and my family. It is recommended that an espresso blend should have approximately 30% bright beans, 40% medium/base beans, and 30% body beans.

Right out of the box after looking for damage on the outside of the boxes.. I set it up on my new counter top in my newly remodeled kitchen with a neighbor who I invited in for cup of coffee, and following directions i attempted to grind some coffee and nothing, OK..! Now skipping that step I used some powdered coffee that I had from a previous machine I start to extract some coffee and now nothing but room temp dark water was extracted.. I was so embarrassed..! Thankfully I did not throw out my old machine which was smaller and cheaper I made us some coffee and changed the story to shake off my embarrassment... Learned my lesson bigger and more expensive is not always better...!

This is a functioning expresso machine. But the good comments pretty much stops there. I have some gripes to talk about this machine first: * The bean bowl which contains the pre-grind has given me a lot of issues when I had to grind the beans. When I load up the bowl with beans and press "grind" button, it'll start grinding, but only the immediate lower tiered level of beans will go down the grinder, the upper tier of beans tend to get stuck at the top without sliding down the grinder funnel. This has been a bit problem since I place this espresso machine under our cabinet, and I have very little spacing to open the lid and insert something to push the beans down during a grind. Very inconvenient on this aspect. * Pressurization is a bit issue with this unit. On pressurizing steam phase liquid into the grinds to steep espresso, I pretty much cannot achieve the target pressure that the machine says it'll do. There are two types of screens which are provided by this set, a larger pore and a smaller pore with an even further constriction to flow. Only the smaller pore screen can help generate enough flow resistance to have enough pressurization for this to work. The larger screen is basically garbage. I later found out that if I can somehow manage some "VERY FINE" grinds, then pressurization works well to an extent, but overall, I think the overall design of the pressurization steeping system is flawed. In order to get fine grinds, I pretty much have to buy extra fine coffee grinds from the store for this to work, this machine's grinder simply can't get there in the first place. This is an annoyance and a challenge to overcome, and I simply am losing patience on these things. * Lastly, the steam spout is very loud. I know these are supposed to be some pressure relieving exhaust which tend to generate enough noise to be too loud. But there are enough machines with better designs and muffling systems in place. This machine doesn't even generate enough pressure for steeping, don't know why it generates such loud exhaust to begin with. The only pro I would give merit to this machine is the fact that this machine has a small form factor to which it fits under my kitchen cabinets on the counter with just enough clearance to work the bean bowl and be sufficient small enough not to take up too much space against all else. Overall, I'm cannot say I'm very satisfied with this coffee maker, but in terms it doing the job, it does bring me the cut of espresso I command it to. I can't say your experience will be the same, but boy, coming around Christmas season, my wife wants this donated to the thrift store and get some properly branded espresso maker, that's about the extent of our vantage on this machine. Having gone through what we've gone through, I would not recommend this unit to someone; especially not at the price it's been listed for.
