I received a faulty unit as it wasn't blowing cold air. I got their service email through their site and emailed them about the issue. They responded right away, within 20 minutes, with questions regarding the unit. After review, they decided to send me a new unit which I am thankful for. It was great dealing with them and they were very accommodating since I recently had back surgery. New unit works great! I believe their service people are overseas, so you won't get responses from them during normal US business hours. I was getting responses from them later at night so be aware of that. The reviewer complaining about not getting a hold of someone was probably frustrated not being able to talk to someone during the day, which they were probably closed. ... show more

This air conditioner works really well for a larger space. Very easy set up. Waiting to see what it costs to run, but cooled our large room from 89 to 76 quite quickly and is maintaining it.

    • The window kit assembly (for the exhaust tube) does not quite fit into 36" window widths.
The air conditioner itself is fantastic! It cools our 525+ square foot living/dining room/kitchen area during extreme heat waves. I had a little trouble removing the back panel for filter cleaning due to the tight fit of anchor brackets. But the control panel is easy to use and understand. The window kit does not quite fit into my 36" window due to the sliding adjustment panel not clearing the exhaust opening; I was able to force the exhaust outlet pipe through the opening, but the sliding panel really needs to be cut short to accommodate the window dimension. ... show more

Initially, this device cooled my room effectively, even managing the humidity well. The three fan speeds suited different times of the day, and the timer feature was quite useful. However, after a few weeks, it suddenly stopped working without any warning. One moment it was fine, the next it wouldn't start. When I got this product I notice it was as very well packaged. All items came with the product and were in good shape. AC was very easy to install with providing instructions. After turning the AC on I was amazed how well it worked and strong the fan was. We live in Ga and have a big living room and I'm amazed at how cool it keeps it.
