We didn't want a traditional keyed double deadbolt on both sides as we thought it would be inconvenient to pass through regularly, so this lock is perfect for the application we required. Overall fairly easy to install. It took a few attempts to figure out how to set the codes, but that was more our issue with not following the directions at first. The functionality and look of the lock is fantastic. It's very easy to use and because it is a true mechanical lock you can actually feel when it is works. Highly recommended.

I don't know much about how locks work, so getting it to turn right was giving me fits. It worked just fine assembled on my counter, but as soon as we put it in the door, one side worked and the other didn't. There was a phone number in the paperwork. I held my breath, figuring there was a long wait and a hassle ahead. BOY WAS I WRONG! FANTASTIC customer service!! I not only reached a real person, he knew exactly what my trouble must be just from the description. He walked me right through it over the phone. He even called back to check up and make sure the 2nd installation went off without a hitch. The locks are absolutely perfect for keeping my mother (Alzheimer's) safe. They work beautifully once you get used to them. Installation was mostly easy, and when I got stuck, the top-notch customer service couldn't be beaten. Excellent find!

Purchased this lock for my exterior pedestrian gate and unfortunately it just stopped working after two months. It doesn’t get used too often as it’s mainly for deliveries and the yard company for landscaping. Unfortunately, it gets stuck in the open position and therefore can’t latch closed for security. Currently, I’ve had to zip tie the gate closed until I find a better lock that is more durable and dependable. Very disappointing considering the price.

I bought this lock to cover the security gaps in my LOCKLY SECURE PRO the Lockly is great but the app is lacking in some industry standard security features like two factor authentication it doesn’t exist in the app so a determined criminal with a few tools can gain access to your locks PASSWORDS!! delete your account on LOCKLY.COM and just make all kinds of trouble for you if they are motivated enough. This lock closes all those gaps in security permanently!! There is no app no WiFi to jam no way around that PASSCODE I drilled the heads off of my mounting screws to make it impossible to tamper with this lock and I not know about it immediately! Now that’s an extreme step and I’m super skilled when it comes to mechanical things so I can remove the drilled screws at my leisure, if you are not very handy I’d say DO NOT DRILL THE MOUNTING SCREWS! You will need help to remove them. As for the combo locks they are very sturdy strong even but even with my advanced level skill set I had to call tech support WTH 🤦🏽♂️ I’ve changed a dozen or so locks drilled doors and door frames to mount deadbolts and you name it but this lock is different. It’s not like anything you have installed before know this before getting into it. Their customer support is freaking fantastic👍🏼👍🏼 JR stayed on the phone with me for a while and didn’t get off until my call dropped😳 I mean an awesome dude and very knowledgeable but with his instructions I was able to figure it out and I’m so pleased with the security and tuffness of the lock I ordered another for my garage door which also has a $250 LOCKLY SECURE PRO on it brand new only been installed two weeks! but this lock is all about security not hype and marketing just brass tacks you feel me, all said and done if your lock is not functioning smoothly then you may need to shim it up loosen the screws some and move the lock up and pull it out at the bottom of the lock where the shaft is that controls the lock this is what I had to do look at my picture there is backer cord or gap filler rod installed under the bottom of my lock. That’s to provide the correct angle and distance needed for the shaft to operate the lock smoothly. Do not jam the shaft in to the lock control mechanism this is what I was doing it will not help and can damage the lock I got lucky mine is fine. I hope this helps with your install and if you don’t have backer rod on hand any kind of shim will do it can be plastic wood or even cardboard just something to give you the correct clearance for the shaft to turn. Ok good luck with your new high security door latch and oh you can install these locks as door handles or door knobs and use the door knob holes in your door and door frame these things are so versatile it’s ridiculous.

This is a great lock with a very solid construction (probably weighs a couple of pounds). It arrived promptly and everything for installation was included. Originally we had an issue and needed help. The box included a phone number for customer support. I thought "Well - let's try it" and really didn't expect much help. WOW, was I surprised. I got a "real person" right away and he was extremely helpful. After explaining my issue he promptly got it resolved. He even told me to call back with any problems and/or issues. Very professional and efficient. It is very refreshing to experience a truly 5* customer service in this age. Thanks for all the help. The lock now works GREAT.

Wow, I really cannot say enough good about this company. After 4 years of use on my outdoor side gate that is used by Airbnb and service people, I decided to change the code but messed up by taking the back off instead of using the screwdriver to make simple switches. Contacted company, got immediate response, got personalized assistance for an irregular type of gate and got shipped a whole new lock to start over with. Jon checked back with me several times to make sure I was able to install and helped me troubleshoot over the phone with expertise. I think that this kind of customer care is really rare these days. I highly recommend them and the lock works great! Next time I will follow the provided instructions for changing the code instead of barreling through it like I did.
