Description

This innovative, beech rolling pin takes the guesswork out of preparing biscuit dough, pizza bases and pastry sheets. It comes with five sets of removable, color-coded rings that raise the rolling surface by different amounts to create the required pastry thickness you need - approximately 2 mm (1/16"), 4 mm (1/6"), 6 mm (1/4"), 8 mm (5/16") or 10 mm (3/8"). Simply twist off the rings you don't need and you're ready to roll. You can even use the pin without any rings if you need to roll even thinner. Dimensions: L42 x W6.4 cm.

I have tried numerous thickness guides on rolling pins and BY FAR this is my favorite. Not only is it easy to use it was easy to clean. Yesterday I rolled out 120 sugar cookies and each cookie was the same thickness. So glad I bought this rolling pin.

This rolling pin is incredible. I purchased it for my pottery class to help me evenly roll out slabs of clay. It does the job and does it really well, creating the perfect thickness from end to end. I went with this new “PrecisionPin” design vs. the original version because the plastic attachments on this rolling pin seemed like a better upgrade and didn’t require inserting the plastic screw into the pin when adjusting the attachments, which overtime can cause cracks if it gets turned too tightly. This new version completely avoids that problem. The only negative thing is that the rolling pin comes bone dry right out the packaging. So incredibly dry that I wouldn’t be surprised if it were to crack during its first use if not oiled right away. I used a wood cream/oil on it as soon as it arrived and let it soak up overnight. By the next morning it was smooth to the touch and rehydrated. It’s really worth the cost especially if you want consistent and even thickness for your projects. I plan on buying another one to use for baking. ... show more

I love this rolling pin for rolling out my sugar cookie dough. The length allows me to roll out larger sheets of dough at a consistent thickness. Larger sheets means less rolling! I knocked off one star because the end rings tend to unscrew as I’m rolling and I have to keep tightening them so they don’t fall off. I’ve kind of gotten used to it and retighten without even thinking about it now, but still, it’s a design flaw. ... show more
