These lights aren’t very bright but the timer works perfectly. They turn on automatically at night but maybe they weren’t getting enough sun during the day for a full recharge to be brighter at night.

The media could not be loaded. One of the string of lights works, and is really bright. The other one charged for 8 hours (instructions say 6 hours) but still won't turn on. We also didn't get a remote control, not sure if we were supposed to. It's just sad that only one of them works, because half of my house isn't lit up, now ... show more

I love that these lights are solar powered. They seem a little delicate and flimsy but the design made it easy to wrap around my pillars on my porch with no nails or staples needed. Thats because they are like a thin bendable wire. They have cool flash options with various patterns. I wish they were a little bright but they definitely look bright in real life then in the pic. These are not easy to put up at all! Was about to throw them in the trash....they tangle up real easy and come disconnected easily also....I had just about finished putting them up when the end came apart and had to send them back for a replacement, now the manufacturer/ company did replace them with no problems but was more of a headache and pain in my ass than they was worth! ... show more

I liked the one that worked! The other was a dud... it was dull, timer didn't work right - it was bad. The working one - was bright! but the timer was off a bit....... i wouldn't buy this again but it was nice for a short bit.

I have often been disappointed by some things I’ve purchased from Amazon. Fortunately, this was a great buy. The lights are bright for solar. The picture doesn’t do it justice - they look as bright as Christmas lights. The only negative about them is that the wire is tricky to work with because it is easy to tangle, but once they are up they looked great. For the price they are pretty great. Have them strung out along our walkway. The wire is near invisible during the day. Just have to watch out tripping on it depending how you set it up. At night I think it brings a nice touch. Stays on as soon as it’s dark.
