This is definitely a premium paddle and I like the design as it is very minimalistic but also looks very nice. The paddle comes in a nice premium box and it includes a few stickers and extra grips to use. The Hyperion shape has the curve on the top of the paddle which does help with you swing. The handle is also long enough to comfortable hold with two hands if you wanted to do two hand backhand shots. Out of the box the paddle was 8.2 oz but felt light. I was able to maneuver the paddle well with drives and drops right out of the box without any modifications. I did end up putting an extra overgrip on the paddle to make the handle just a bit thicker and add some tackiness. The paddle was easy to get used to because while it does have very good power, the control was good too. I was able to hit drops and dinks like normally would with my other paddles but the drive and punches at the kitchen were very powerful which helped me finish alot of points.

I've used almost all the different hyperions over the past couple of years. The 3rd gen was obviously my favorite, but this is pretty darn good. I also like the scorpius 3s but these IV's are nice. I like the control it has, and the power is there as well. I can't attest to the durability just yet because I'm about a month in and so far so good, but as many of you know, that doesn't always last. I was immediately comfortable using this for my drops, but I love the feel on drives as well. Getting used to the touch on resetting some pace took a day or so. This is my go-to paddle at the moment. Love it. I play in tournaments often and I've been seeing these used a lot as well.

The Pro IV Pickleball Paddle by JOOLA, is a well-made, high quality paddle that brings many great attributes to the court, making it a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and a few things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It’s a very well-made paddle that appears to be made out of good quality materials. I’d put this one in the upper tier of the quality scale for pickleball paddles. II. Performance – It’s worked great with my style of play by providing a very responsive and solid feedback. Its very lightweight at 8.1oz, has a large sweet spot and it generates a lot of power with the carbon fiber face. The comfort contour grip feels nice in my hands and seems to be durable. Overall, this is a great choice for me that I have incorporated into my court time and very much enjoy using. This has been one of the best performing paddles I’ve ever used and would be a treat for anyone to use. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Awesome paddle! This is a very pricey paddle but if you love the game you’ll appreciate this paddle. Lightweight but firm and explosive with power. Quality is superb. Feels perfect in my palm.

This is an excellent top of the line paddle. Nicely weight, perfectly balanced, and great ball control. Comes professionally packaged as expected and is super high quality. Its a bit pricy but seems like it well definitely hold up!
