They seem to light up the deck nicely. However we haven’t been out there in the dark lately. It’s single digits here. Been out to the grill a few times. Easy to install after juggling the various pieces to fit my posts. Screwed back in the same holes as the old ones. There are 3 of 8 that don’t seem to hold a charge as long as the other 5. Could be the arborvitae’s may be blocking the sun more on those 3. I’m going to swap them with 3 others that stay on longer and see if that’s the issue. ... show more

Fits perfectly on a 4x4 wood post. If it’s a little tight, I found it helps to remove the insert/adapter then put the adapter on the post first, then put on the light. It looks good and stays on all night long. Installed in January so not even a ton of sunshine to charge it. There is a switch on the bottom of the top to change the color temperature, warm, cool (harsh white light), or off. I like that it’s not crazy big to fit a 5x5 post also. These look great on my new fence and the solar is reliable and the lights are bright. However, the plastic housing/frame is not sturdy. Installation was easy besides the housing being super bendy and flimsy. I wish it was made from higher quality plastic to help with the durability of the light as a whole. ... show more

We ordered this for a project that has been put off and remained unfinished. I almost returned them before even opening because of this, but missed the return window. My partner installed two of them at the gate, and it has bothered me SO MUCH that there were two different light temperatures. I was like "how did that even happen?" I've been meaning to come back to write a review, and I'm glad that I did, because I just saw that there is a switch to change that, which I didn't expect. I definitely prefer the warmer look. These are very bright and have held up for a few months now (though, honestly, we haven't even unboxed the rest, so hopefully they are all good).
