The wooden ladders are exactly as pictured/described. I bought the set that is 3 different lengths (6, 7, and 8 step - 28cm, 32 cm, 36 cm). Although the packaging was somewhat lacking (just a plastic bag), they arrived safely and intact. They seem to be made very well, so they were a great buy for the price, lengths, and quantity. I especially like that all of the surfaces are sanded smooth and there aren't any gobs of glue sticking out anywhere. The rungs, sides, and hooks are so-well assembled, that I can't even tell if it's glued or friction-fit. I can't speak to how well birds would enjoy them, as I'm using them for a pet mouse. The rungs are spaced a little too far apart for her though, so I wove fleece through them to create a more suitable surface for her to traverse. She loves her ladders and zooms all over her cage with them. Mice love to chew on things though, so at some point I'll need to buy replacements. When that time comes, I'll gladly repurchase this exact same item. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Good sturdy wood, compared to pet stores this is the better deal for your money. Fast shipping. Definitely recommend for those with small-medium critters who looove to play and climb😌😌😌 They’re meant for birds but i use these on my rodents!!
