  • Excellent Projector
Set name: N1S Ultra
Awesome projector with super clarity. The brightness and auto focus really makes the experience at par with theater cinema. The setup takes only seconds and whoa you are now watching Netflix through the projector. The sound is pretty good but we also added bluetooth speakers just for theater experience. One of the best things about this projector is that you can project it on ceilings, which my kids liked a lot. Some comments said that there is a lag with remote but I could not find any issue with remote and it worked very much fine. The only con I can think of is that this projector does not have optical zoom, which is not really an issue since it does have digital zoom which is good enough for our viewing experience. ... show more

  • Fantastic Picture and Sound With Robust Android Interface Fantastic Picture and Sound With Robust Android Interface
Set name: N1S Ultra
This projector is the real deal. The image quality is exceptional, and more importantly, it’s controllable. You’re not locked into a fixed setup—you can zoom, reshape, and precisely fit the image to your space, even if the projector isn’t centered. Mine sits about four feet off-axis, projecting onto a light gray plaster wall—not a screen—and it still produces a clean, well-proportioned image. That alone says a lot about the processing and correction. What surprised me most is how well it handles non-ideal conditions. The projector actively compensates for wall color, so you don’t need a perfect white screen. I can shift between a darker, more cinematic image or a bright, high-impact picture with sunlight in the room, and it holds together in both cases. The triple laser system is what separates this from typical projectors. You can watch in full daylight and still retain clarity, contrast, and color. Blacks stay grounded, colors are saturated without blowing out, and the image has real depth. It’s the closest I’ve personally seen a projector come to an OLED-like experience—and I don’t say that casually. For playback, I’m not using the built-in Android system. I run an Apple TV through one of the HDMI ports (with ARC) into a surround sound setup. If you go this route, use high-speed HDMI cables—it matters for stability and performance. That said, the built-in speakers are better than expected. The Dolby audio is full enough for casual use, especially for something like an outdoor movie night or if you’re prioritizing budget on the projector itself. But realistically, the sound is still coming from the projector’s physical location. Even though it fills the room, it doesn’t match the scale of the image. If you care about the full experience, a dedicated sound system is the move. If you’re expecting a traditional projector experience, this isn’t that. It performs in conditions where most projectors fall apart—and that’s what makes it worth it. ... show more

  • Clearly Best projector!
Set name: N1S Ultimate
I have tried many different projectors. Those were more expensive with higher lumens. This JMGO one was brighter and provides higher quality pictures. And much easier screen adjustment/manual keystone setup. Better in every aspect. I am purchasing a 3rd one, in 9 months.

  • Awesome Project, Sluggish UI Awesome Project, Sluggish UI
Set name: N1S Ultra
We bought this for use in our backyard, and for that, it is perfect. Don't get me wrong, you'll definitely enjoy this best after the sun goes down (otherwise it'll be hard to see), but the brightness is still impressive for this size and price. The picture quality is stunning. The details and colors are all excellent. We've used it both on a 20' inflatable screen and a 10' projector screen, and it looks great on both. The inflatable had no backing behind the screen, and I was still impressed with the brightness. You can see in my videos that on the traditional screen, the brightness is great even with the ambient lights I have around my pool. The sound quality is also really good, though I think it probably needs to be about 50% louder for some content. For example, the Spotify app sounds great, but we watched a Netflix movie, and the sound was pretty low and hard to hear. Could have been that specific movie or app, but worth mentioning. Gaming on the project was great for us. We used it with our XBOX and with our Nintendo Switch with great success. I really appreciate that Google TV is built-in. This makes enjoying the projector that much easier since you don't need another device to carry around. Speaking of carrying around, the dual-purpose packaging and carrying case is brilliant, and greatly appreciated. There are a few things that I wish were a little better, though. 1) The UI is a little sluggish at times even when just navigating menus. This might improve, with updates, but after buying TVs with built-in operating systems, it gives me a lot of concern. Some of those TVs are basically impossible to use by today's standards simply because of how slow they run with the built-in OS. 2) Some of the built-in functions are buried behind clicks. For example, the auto screen fit (which works well enough and makes setup much easier) is behind several clicks. For my use case, this projector will be on-the-go, so I'll often need to use that. I wish it was easier to access. 3) The charger brick is annoying. I got the super nice stand they make for it, which is again great for portability, but the charger brick hinders the portability with the stand if you use the built-in cable guide. In fact, I may stop using the built-in cable guide on the stand so that I can detach the charger brick when moving it around. All around, I would definitely buy it again at the sale price I received. At full-price, I might have a little more concern, but it's still really great. ... show more

  • Reference Theater Quality JMGO N1S Ultra ! Reference Theater Quality JMGO N1S Ultra !
Set name: N1S Ultra
So, I've had the N1S Pro since last November and have enjoyed it immensely. Just recently I also bought the N1S Ultra on May 21, for its extra brightness and for my other room. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. The extra brightness was noticeable and I'm only projecting it on an ivory colored wall for now (see video). The vivid, colorful Triple laser MALC that only JMGO has, makes images so eye popping that my rating should be a 6 out of 5. Just take the plunge and you'll be set with the one of the best home theater projectors that's out there. Totally satisfied. ... show more

  • I am blown away especially for the price! I am blown away especially for the price!
Set name: N1S Ultra
I got the JMGO N1S ultra projector for $1500 during the prime day sale. After I received it and played around with it I was truly blown away by the picture quality as well as the sound quality. The contrast and vibrancy of the colors is astonishingly good especially once you get the projector in a dark environment or wait until night time. The 4K resolution as advertised is also as expected because you can clearly see small size font text. The sound from Dynaudio is also very rich and clear for how small the speakers from inside this compact projector but this was as expected since Dynaudio is known for making some of the best speakers in the world. I also tested the bluetooh sound on my airpods and there was no lag or issues whatsoever. The wifi is also fast and lag free when streaming content from Youtube or Netflix for example. My only complaints are the occasional brief lag when browsing the UI and I do wish the picture was slightly brighter for viewing in the daytime but for that I would have had to go for the N1S Ultimate and I did not want to pay the extra $500 just for a 15-20% brighter image so I can accept this fact because you get what you pay for. Also this might be just me but I can see a slight rainbow effect when moving my eyes quickly through the image at night but I did some research and this is because it's a single chip DLP and to avoid that you would have to buy a more expensive 3 chip DLP. So even with those minor inconveniences my 5 star review is still well justified mainly because of the price to value ratio I get for what I paid. ... show more

  • Still has some bugs that need to be worked out.
Set name: N1S Ultimate
The picture is amazing as far as color and definition. However, sometimes the motions is choppy and freezes for a fraction of a second here and there. The auto keystone and focused are not consistent as I would expect. The sound quality is OK but from the back of the room. So I ended up getting a wireless (Bluetooth) surround system which worlk great with no noticeable latency. Also some apps glitch such as Pandora which requires constant deletion and re-instalation. ... show more

  • Great Picture Quality Great Picture Quality
Set name: N1S Ultimate
This is my first projector so I can only compare picture quality to my LG OLED. Of course the picture quality isn’t as great as an OLED but I spend much more time watching TV on my new projector than I do my OLED. One noticeable difference is the detail in blacks and dark scenes. But that’s an OLEDs strength so you’d expect a difference there. The projector gets plenty bright. I attached a picture taken in the day, with the blinds open and snow reflecting bright light inside and football still looked excellent. I watch a lot of football, hockey, adult animation (Bobs Burgers etc), sci-fi and fantasy movies and everything looks great. I also have my Xbox hooked up to the projector. I have paired the projector with a JBL 1300x soundbar and a 100 inch Silver Ticket screen. I also decided to ceiling mount my projector. One of the selling points for me was all the auto correction this projector has. I watched a lot of YouTube videos showing the auto screen fit working flawlessly. Again, this is my first projector. I learned A LOT in my first foray into this project. I was disappointed at first. I originally had my projector setup at the back of my den on a shelf. No matter what I tried the auto screen fit would not work. After doing the manual keystone correction it looked great but it was a pain to adjust every time though. That was user error however. The projector needs to be within 1.5 and 3 meters (5 to 10 ish feet?) away from the screen to auto adjust. That’s why I had to end up mounting the projector to the ceiling so I could get it closer to the screen. Once I did that, the auto screen fit AND auto focus works great. However, I wish it did a better job memorizing the screen fit once powered off and back on. The screen fitting is slightly off whenever I turn it back on. It’s not a huge issue because it takes 30 seconds to do the auto screen fit again. Much faster than the manual method. I don’t notice much if any lag at all when playing CoD. And playing Avatar on this giant screen is so cool! I’m thrilled with this purchase. I didn’t want to go cheap on my first projector because I wanted a great experience. I also didn’t want to spend 10k. I did a lot of research and I’m glad I landed on this model. No regrets. ... show more
