  • Depends on how much you paid for it
My wife got this for me for a stocking gift for Christmas from a Black Friday sale, so she paid $40 instead of $100+ for it. Pros: Rugged - this feels solidly built and there is a rubber like coating on the outside. I haven't dropped it...yet, but it feels like it would hold up to a drop. User friendly - The controls are fairly intuitive, diopter, focus, all are intuitive. View - Looking through it, it is clear. The field of view is limited, but for $40, it is not bad. Lens Covers - these are secure and feel like they would protect the lenses from water, weather, and a drop. I like the rear cover is attached so I won't lose it, I wish the front cover was similarly attached because I will probably end up losing it. Meh: Tripod - It attaches on the monocular easily and feels like it will not move. However, the legs are small and it feels like it would get knocked over eaily if you are not careful. Cons: The phone adapter sucks, DO NOT BUY IT TO USE WITH A PHONE. First, I have an iPhone ProMax with three lenses, this only allows for one lens. I tried all three with the adapter and what I saw on my phone was horrible. I then used my son's iPhone 12 with only one lens, same result. The pictures from this on your phone will not turn out very well. Telephoto - My wife was disappointed it was fixed and not adjustable. I don't mind for what I am going to use it for. Overall If you paid $40 for this, it is a good monocular. If you paid more than $100 it is not a good monocular. ... show more

  • This is awesome
I bought this for my granddaughter that is an avid hunter, and her mom just texted me and said it is awesome. They want to order another one.

  • Decent Monocular - Poor tripod
Monocular works well. Easy to focus and good field of view. Worth the price for out to about 200 yards.

  • Easy to Focus, Seems of Good Quality
Was able to focus quickly and spot targets for my son at 100 yards at the range. Sturdy and compact. I now keep it with my shooting bag.

  • Not strong magnification
This was a gift & they said it should have better power.

  • Doesn’t take up much space
They work great and don’t take up the space like regular binoculars.

  • Great small monocular
We love the monocular. It is small & easy to carry. Comes with a small cloth bag to store it in. We are disappointed in the phone adapter. I have a Samsung phone, my husband has an iPhone. Neither one of us could get out phones attached too allow us to see anything. We were hoping to use it to capture the last SpaceX launch but we couldn't see anything. My husband used the monocular to watch & he said it was amazing. So don't buy this primarily for use with your phone or you will probably be frustrated. If you do get it to work then that's a bonus. ... show more

  • No where 40-60 x magnification. They must be including the phones zoom. More like 12x.
Good quality, but no where near the magnification advertised. Camera connection was worse than expected, but is probably the same as all the competitors in this class. Hard to center and get phone as close as possible to eyepiece. I would have returned this but miss the return window. It worked well enough when I tried it on arrival that despite exaggerated claims I thought I would use It on our exposition to Antarctica, but I didn’t. ... show more
