Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product is definitely good for small spaces such as the bathroom. The picture attached is how much water was in the bin after a night. Florida is known for it's humidity so quite honestly I was really expecting more. I've run this for a couple weeks especially after showers however, it doesn't really seem to reduce the humidity that much more in the house. While I do think the features it has such as the sensor for when it's full with water and the rubber on the legs are nice it just does not feel as though it's reducing the humidity much. It could potentially be because the house does not have much humidity to begin with but again seeing as I live in Florida I really expected more. At the very least it is very quiet and it doesn't seem like it overheats. ... show more

This device feel sturdy and well built. It is very easy to use, just plug it in and starts working from that point on. It does not have any setting like turning off the LED light when the unit is on. The LED is not all that bright either, just enough light to see the water level. If the light goes from green to red than it means the water level is too high or is not functioning correctly. This dehumidifier is meant for small rooms like a bathroom or closet up to 130sq.ft. with the door closed. I've tested it in our bathroom with the door open and after a few hours it has already produced about 1/8" of water. The humidity outside the house ranges from 75 to 100 percent humidity, inside the humidity is around 55 percent. It comes with a sturdy power cord and the bottom of the device has 4 thick rubber feet to keep it from moving around. It comes with well written easy to understand instructions. The bottom reservoir tray is easy to open and dump when it's fool. It has a built-in automatic shut off sensor when the water reaches a certain point.     • Nice Little Dehumidifier
I put this in my bathroom closet to cut down on the humidity. It doesn't get as much a/c flow as it probably should. The humidifier fills up, and I have to empty it around once a week. It is definitely sucking water out of the air. It's very easy to use. It has a green led to show it's on and working. When it fills up completely, or you remove the water container, the led shining into the water container turns red. It's enough light to be just enough to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, which is nice too. It only has one button. ... show more

    • It works, but some issues
First things first, this does work. At least as far it does put water in the tank. However the tilt shutoff feature is not good. I'm not sure if my unit simply has issues or what, but I have not been able to get it to run for more than a few hours until I come back and it is blinking red with barely any water in the tray. I am not moving the unit, I am not tilting the unit, but it does just go off. It's a shame because it looks really nice, and does seem to function. As far as efficacy, I've taken a few showers under the same conditions both with it running and not running and It's not really reducing the humidity measured by a hygrometer any significant amount. I'm also using it in a bathroom around 110 square feet, which should meet the requirements. *updating to 1 star, it now won't function no matter what surface I place it on, and the aforementioned tilt sensor just stops it from working at all. ... show more
