Very easy to install and provides great coverage. I mounted it on the side of my house and it easily covers the 40 ft. span from front to back. I can't comment on the motion detection feature. Mine is set up for "dusk to dawn" operation. I am very satisfied with how it performs.

I've installed a number of motion lights above our garage facing the alley over the years. I wasn't sure what to make of this one (first time with this brand). Here are my observations. (a) I was a little less impressed with build quality over some past brands but it's fine at the end of the day. (b) The selectable color temperature is nice. I wanted 4k over whiter light which affects circadian rhythms for animals in the neighborhood. The light color looks nice. (c) The motion sensitivity is working well. I have it set to activate at night when it detects motion. (d) The light is bright! No question. It's not offensively bright because of the more pleasing color temperature. Overall I'm cautiously quite positive. We'll see how it does in the remaining Chicago Winter with quite severe temperature extremes. The real issue will be longevity. I'd prefer not to have to get on a high ladder and change it anytime soon. The last one from a now bankrupt company did not last very long before a circuit failure. ... show more
