This is a really great neck fan. I spend time in the hot Florida sun tending my garden, and my whole head gets completely soaked with sweat. Before I had this fan, which I don't use outside, but when I come in from the heat, it is so amazing how cooling it feels on my neck and dries the sweat from my soaked head. With the unrelenting mid-90's heat here in Florida this summer, I have been trying to keep our thermostat for our A/C higher than other years as our energy prices have really skyrocketed. Occasionally, when it gets to be a little too warm inside for me, I will put this little fan, even just on the low setting,and it cools me off. So much cheaper than keeping my A/C thermostat at the cooler setting. My neck muscles can be easily annoyed with anything around my neck, but this is light enough that I barely know it is there. You can hear the fan, but I don't find that it bothers me at all. I had purchased another neck fan prior to this one and returned it because it was heavier, bothered my neck, and the fan was louder. My daughter just placed an order for her own as she spends a lot of time inside and with the upping of the A/C thermostat, she tried out my fan and thought it made her feel much more comfortable. I think you might have a hard time finding one that you like better than this JISULIFE model. ... show more

    • Game changer in the gym!

I purchased this on a whim, and honestly wasn't really expecting much from it, but it has definitely surprised me with how efficient it is. I live in AZ where it is 115 degrees in the summer, so fans are essential, in order to keep cooling costs down. The problem is when traversing outside, it's difficult to bring a mini fan with you without it being a huge inconvenience. This fan lets you just put it on your neck and feel a cool breeze at all times when outside. Also, it basically looks like a set of headphones, so I don't really feel self conscious when wearing it. The biggest impact this has for me is at the gym. Normally by the end of a workout, my shirt is drenched in sweat, but with this I barely even sweat through the gym shirts anymore! This works best when there is already somewhat cool air around you (like in a gym), but just not a fan directly on you. It's nice to not be self conscious about sweating through my shirts anymore while working out. ... show more

    • Just what I didn't know I needed!

I bought this neck fan based on the positive reviews with the idea I'd use it at the racetrack to help keep cool during the blistering July sun/heat. Unfortunately the race was canceled, but I am using the neck fan to cool down in my non-air conditioned office. What I like about the fan is the multi-speeds, as well as the effectiveness of providing a stream of air directly up to cook my neck, face, and hairline. The downsides include locating the power/speed button when the fan is on the neck - it is nearly impossible to find by feel alone. It is also incredibly loud and provides a white-noise hum (I don't find this off-putting but it could be for some). Long hair may get caught, so it's best to keep long hair up or away from the fans. Last, it's on the heavy side. Again, it doesn't bother me, but the weight could be uncomfortable to the elderly or very slim people. It sounds like I have more cons than pros, but I really like this fan! It's an economical solution for cooling down, and if the noise and weight aren't a factor (like for me), this is a helpful tool! ... show more

I saw a person wearing one of these portable neck fans and they were nice enough to let me try it out. I was astounded by how well it worked and how affordable it was. I immediately ordered one and it arrived the next day. I sweat a lot, like more than the average person, and I've been seeking a solution for the humid summer weather other than carrying around an unsightly sweat rag with me. There's three levels of airflow that is dispersed through the neckband. I like that the cool air flows from the sides as well as the front. I noticed when I'm washing dishes the hot water causes a sudden burst of humid air, wich only suggests that it sucks air pretty strongly. The noise level is not bad and doesn't bother me, and I'm a noise sensitive person. The slight wind sound can interfere a little when I'm on my cell phone and simultaneously using my phone's ear piece. The On/Off button is hard to locate because it's smooth and blends in so well. I solved the problem but taping a snippet of Duct tape on the spot so I can feel it. The device is a tad bulky and slightly heavier than anticipated, but the relief it provides is a fair trade off that is tolerable. The battery charge lasts several hours. I don't know exactly how long because it hadn't run out on me yet, but I charge it each night before bed. I've been wearing my portable neck fan nonstop every day since I received it and only wish I discovered it a couple of years ago. It works fine for my needs and has enabled me to prolong turning on the AC in the house, which can get expensive. ... show more
