I can’t say enough good things about this bidet. It has front wash, back wash, and an off setting, plus a heated seat and several levels of warm water to choose from. You can also use regular (non-heated) water or turn on the self-cleaning mode. Everything works exactly as described. I had bladder surgery and later developed a UTI from a catheter, and this bidet was a lifesaver. The warm water made it so much easier to stay clean and gave real relief from the pain. I also developed hemorrhoids, and the gentle warm spray helped soothe the soreness more than I ever expected. The quality is excellent, and installing it was incredibly easy. I’m 70 years old and had it attached in about five minutes. As long as you have an outlet nearby, you’re set—mine was next to the sink, so plugging it in was simple. The toilet lid can come off if needed, and there’s a button that lets you slide the seat on and off for extra cleaning. My husband loves it too—when you lift the lid, it actually stays up! The media could not be loaded. If you’re debating which bidet to buy, here’s my honest take after owning bidets in every bathroom of our house and trying multiple brands including Brondell and Korean-made models: Toto is simply on another level. Other brands love to stack on bells and whistles, fancy remotes, apps, and features that sound good on paper but feel cheap, unreliable, or annoying over time. Toto focuses on what actually matters—build quality, reliability, and consistency—and it shows. The TOTO WASHLET A2 is the version I recommend most people get. No remote control, no gimmicks. That’s actually a plus. Remotes sound nice until you’re constantly replacing batteries, dealing with lag, or resetting the unit because it didn’t register a command. The side panel controls on the A2 just work, every time. The spray quality is excellent—smooth, precise, and gentle but effective. The seat is comfortable, well-shaped, and doesn’t feel flimsy like many competitors. Everything about it feels thoughtfully engineered rather than cheaply assembled. Things people should know before buying: • This model uses a tank-style water heater, not instant heating. That means you get warm water at first, but after a longer wash, the water temperature will gradually cool once the tank runs out. • Toto’s instant hot water system exists, but it’s on higher-end (and much more expensive) models. • Installation is straightforward if you already have a nearby outlet. • The seat is slimmer and more toilet-like than bulky bidets from other brands. • Toto’s reliability and longevity are where the value really is—you’re paying for something that lasts.     • It puts the water in all the right places.
I never imagined I'd live in a house with 4 toilets, yet here we are. I installed this on the toilet preferred by my wife, and she couldn't be happier. The kids hopped on and now they won't do their business anywhere else. I mean, I get it...a heated seat and warm water squirting where it matters, but really, they sit on this thing for very long periods, device in hand and exhaust fan humming. I might recommend a timer for the heated seat, so the kids will leave and my wife can sit back down with her Foodie Sizzle game. I installed it myself, and here I must offer a warning: This bidet requires electricity, which means you need an electrical outlet near the toilet. No such outlet existed in this particular bathroom. So began the fun. I ran a new power line behind the toilet by tearing out a piece of the floor of an upstairs closet and connecting to a circuit up there. But first, I had to cut into a water line while cutting out the floor. C'mon, you didn't think this would go smoothly, didja? On the plus side, I set a new record running down 30 stairs to the basement and shutting off the main water supply. And I actually had the parts on hand to fix what I broke. So take that, TOTO...in Illinois, we get our stuff done the hard way. Anyway, installation of the bidet itself is quite easy...if you have the correct water hoses. I didn't, so off to the hardware store I went, 20 miles each way, just so I could surprise my wife on her birthday, before she got home from work. She was happy, which made me happy. Now I fear the other 3 toilets will have their own TOTO's soon. ... show more

This Toto bidet was recommended by a brother and sister who love it. I was skeptical but decide to give it a try. It is amazing! We use it all the time and feel nice and clean. From the seat warmer, to the variable water temperature, this accessory is worth every penny. The quality and functionality are very nice and we are using less toilet paper.
