Works well, lasts for a long time, and fits inside the jetboil sumo -maybe others. I usually use it to make coffee a few mornings every three or four weeks while car camping. I'll get over a year out of these doing that. Fire bans have have been popping up all over here in Colorado and the same all over the west. I'll keep a jetboil around in case a wood fire isn't allowed. Lately the MSR systems have taken over in popularity, and jetboil had been falling out. Jetboil is a good system, and I'm glad to have a source in Amazon to find canisters. I'll probably add MSR to my kit, but I'll hold on to jetboil for as long as they stay in business. ... show more

I've had a JetBoil for about 3 years now and they haven't failed me yet. Every time i've bought fuel for my jetboil, it have never had any issues with the fuel itself. But i will say if youre using it for breakfast, lunch and dinner it can get pretty expensive to repeatedly buy these canasters.

Please understand that if you are reading this review between June and Sept you'll see it's sold out. Why? Because this large size is impossible to find and its value is 2x the smaller one. I have a Weekender (Sprinter Van) and use a stove that accepts both propane and Jet Power fuel. This fuel lasts longer, controls better, burns hotter and feels more convenient to me. I do keep the smaller size handy for overnight hikes. Again, in the summer you won't be able to buy this at ANY BOX STORE!! It will be sold out so bite the bullet and order 1-2 now. ... show more

This works specifically for JetBoil stoves, and works well. However, the cost via Amazon is quite a bit more than in a retail store -- over $20 vs. $6 in a store....but I had no choice....so for me, the convenience ended up being worth it.
