Pushing the boundaries on “value” in the wrong direction. The power head is just fine, low profile, and quality is decent. Controller looks and feels like the absolute lowest common denominator device the manufacturer could find. This thing makes a non-Wi-Fi Jebao controller look like a Rolls Royce and a joy to program. I can’t imagine trying to use this thing for anything other than 100% on or a simple pulse program. I’m using it on 100% (I think, who knows?) to circulate water under equipment in my sump and for that, it’s fine up until it starts an electrical fire. If this thing pushes 3400gph then I’m the queen of Ireland. It’s closer to 1/2 that. Small footprint in tank. Dead silent. ... show more

Is it quiet? I am not use to ANY fan being this quiet. It's truly amazingly quiet. Not even a buzz or vibrate from it!. Is it powerful? Eh...Doesn't seem to be. Although, there's ample applications to use it in low-flow areas, I wouldn't count on it for the neddy, high-flow Corals.

Definitely not worth spend your money on, this thing starts rattling so loud after 2 months of having it also makes a squeaky annoying sound very loud and stops working on its own about 4-5 times in a week. You’ll need to unplug and restart the product for it to work again.
