These are sturdy and versatile. Contruction is fair, in that we needed to drill hole for mounting clamps because the tubing was covering the opening to accept mounting screws. Price was right though, nit a difficult fix.

We obviously bought these to transport our kayaks on our roof rack. They are very sturdy! However, if you have a large kayak I might recommend finding larger holders because it has a hard time holding the large fishing kayak in place (however an extra strap makes ours work). They work perfectly holding up a normal size kayak! The directions for assembly were hard to read but overall pretty easy to assemble! ... show more

Great product, works as intended, directions for assembly were clear and easy to follow. The only difficulty I had was the mounts were only just barely large enough for the roof racks on my second generation Nissan Xterra. With a little finesse I was able to install the kayak racks but it was not easy. But now that they’re installed the work great. Great price great product. ... show more
