Let me begin by saying I am glad I bought it.... but it was no small feat to put it together. I did it myself with the "help" of two small children. I recommend doing it alone in silence or with two adults. It wants you to put a washer on either side of the pieces but there is no way that can fit... also the instructions are basically gibberish they make zero sense and the photos of the product are different on the outside and inside of the instruction booklet. In one photo the outside ring is inside and on the cover it is inside.... I guess it doesn't matter? The first ring is tedious, the second ring easy, the third and fourth ring are super difficult because you somehow have to fit 6 of the long pieces and two washers together. I don't know how long this will last but for the price I think it was worth it... just try to assemble when you can really focus and you don't have "help" from toddlers! ... show more

Supposing the 439 lb weight limit to be legit, I started climbing on it with my toddler to show him how to do it. Well, my 160 lb self was apparently too heavy and the top of the dome bent and broke! I’m sure it’s fine for small children, but the stated weight limit is not true and I am quite disappointed. Awaiting a response from the seller to see about getting a refund/replacement, since the given information was wrong. Also, if you buy it, plan to have 3 people available to work together for assembly. Update: The seller was very helpful, kind, and quick to respond. They are sending me bars to replace the top of the dome and issued me a small refund. I still will not climb on this myself, but I am very pleased to have a product that my children can enjoy for many years to come! Update 2: I received the bars after about 30 days of waiting, but they sent me the wrong ones. In the email, they stated they would send me five yellow bars to replace the broken ones, but I received 3 red and 3 yellow, and had to wait another several weeks for them to send me the remaining 2 yellow bars. Overall, I give this experience 3 stars. Nice product, but bad experience. ... show more

    • Two person assembly
This arrived in a very heavy box. I began the assembly alone, but required my wife's assistance to get the bottom circle completed. Basically it's 5-point yellow stars with red sides connecting the whole thing together. Be prepared to loosen and retighten the bolts for adjustments during the assembly. I was a little disappointed that some of the horizontal pieces were at an angle after assembly, but my granddaughters didn't seem to mind. When finished, tighten the black nuts really hard since the kids may stand on them. Might have been better to put the nuts the inside rather than outside as the photos indicate; I did that at the very top to allow the kids to sit on the peak. The dome's fairly small diameter allows it to be easily moved. Kids enjoy playing under the dome as much as climbing on it. ... show more

Love, love, love! And for the price it can't be beat! Yeah, it was a pain to put together but I did most of it by myself and then with help from my teenage daughter. But honestly, I've put dollhouses for kids that were way more complicated than this! And this is definitely worth the time! Make sure you focus on the base first and get it right before moving on! ... show more

    • Instructions a bit confusing. Great for restless climbers.
My 6 year old son with autism loves this for climbing and as a safe place/fort. I put this thing together by myself. Wish i had help, but wife had to take care of kids. If you dont heavy very strong hands and wrists I'd recommend 2-3 people for quicker installation. Took me 3-4 hours. Put together wrong way because of the confusing instructions at first, but eventually figured the pattern out by meticulously eyeing the picture. Its light enough for 2 people to move with ease. Overall, my kids love this and it’s a great addition to our yard. We have a 5 and 2.5 year old- both boys- with lots of energy so this allows them to climb and swing to get some of it out. Slightly smaller than I thought. Definitely wide enough but I wish it was slightly taller. But for the price, it works great. It was such a pain to put together. Hard to figure out the order of the bars from the pictures and the written directions weren’t any help. We eventually got the pattern and it moved faster. But again, for the price it was definitely worth the hassle. We had an Allen wrench attachment for our drill and that helped tighten the screws. Definitely would recommend for younger kids! ... show more
