I just received this today. Pretty impressive! I’m 6’4” 350lbs and it handles my big back fine on just using the battery without petaling. I enjoy this bike. It replaced a H-Ezzo I had and thoroughly enjoyed but after 3,000 miles I was ready to upgrade. I wanted power for a decent price and I got that out of the Jaison EB5 MAX. This has the power to carry 400lbs, the frame is nearly 90 and it came with a rear rack to install which led to me purchasing a saddle bag to carry tools and water, amongst other items, for long extended rides. I took it in a 50 mile ride on day one. 25 without pedal assist, it rides smooth without power for its size BTW, and then went into PAS on the return and it still had juice left on the battery. It can go over 30MPH easily and cruises at 18MPH on the power level 2, it has 5 altogether. I have rode this daily since its arrival. It shipped within the specified time, and was easy to put together. Take the time to check all the little bolts and screws to ensure they are tight, I learned that from watching reviews on YouTube. The brakes work well, the light is bright, and the ride is smooth. The only downside is I did take it on slightly wet pavement and tried a hairpin turn without electric on and it slid causing me to wipe out. The tires handle grass, mud and muck but slightly wet pavement on a turn, not so much, and that's okay. I ride mainly on paved trails and have the tire at 30PSI and I would recommend 20PSI if it rains and you ride pavement. For what you pay it is still a great bargain. Even the wipe out didn't cause a scratch, tough, very tough bike. Would recommend and I will definitely buy another one in a few years. I want to add I went over 550 miles in July on my Jaison EB5 Max. I have never loved riding a bike as much as I love the EB5 Max. It has power, it has the get up and go, and it has a battery that is going to be a champion on the hottest days. I had a total of 3,000 miles on my last bike through its lifetime. I am at 550 now and I can see myself repeating it this month. The bike is named "The Beast" by my biking friends because of the size and ability to ride with ease. I have had them give the bike a try to see their reaction, first without power because it is smooth for looking like a motorcycle, surprisingly smooth. I then have them try it with the electric on and I watched a 67 year old friend turn into a big kid when he smiled ear to ear on how it felt. I would recommend buying a seat without the nose too. I bought one and replaced my seat and WOW is all I can say. Best purchase of the year. ... show more

Well, it’s been ridden approx 150 miles and overall I’m a bit underwhelmed. Spotty welds all around, some nuts/bolts came loose upon first ride (namely the seat…that hurt). Headlight isn’t very illuminating when pointed down road. Mechanical brakes are very squeaky and don’t have much stopping power. Battery drains faster than advertised and charges pretty slow, requiring overnight or during work shift. It works, and I’ll continue using it, mostly because sending it back will be a hassle and it’s heavy (80+ lbs). I wish I spent a bit more $$ on a different brand with better overall fit and finish. 2 1/2 stars. ... show more

    • Ordering a pair is not worth the hassle!!!
We ordered the pair of bikes. We received one bike, spent the week trying to get the second bike shipped. Had to call Amazon customer support and get a solution. Bike is a fairly decent quality bike. Neighbors have ordered a pair of bikes and have the same problem. I would recommend purchasing the bikes but the discount on shipping for ordering a pair is not worth the hassle. ... show more

I'm so happy with this bike. I charged it once and I've been riding around our neighborhood and beyond for the past few days. Me and a buddy put it together in about 30 minutes. It seems super sturdy. It accelerates quickly and goes faster than I really need. It looks great and im super happy with the price. Im taking it to Silver Falls state park in a couple of days. It has 5 speed assists and on number 5 it goes fast. Gonna get my wife one soon. For the price, I highly recommend it! ... show more

The bike has been quite comfortable and enjoyable. It has a great top speed of about 31mph and a smooth ride and comfortable turning. It has nice thick tires. The handlebars are a little closer together than I like, but it doesn't bother me as I ride.
