So we tried to go get my hubby a haircut yesterday and ever where we went they wanted $50-$60 dollars at a barber for a beard trim and hair cut, NO Thanks!! We decided to order these for less then $40 bucks on sale and got them because they would be delivered early in morning, package arrived on time and hubby got his hair cut:) I used the clippers right away, right out of box, charged to 100%! I was really surprised by the quality of the clippers and trimmer. Basically professional-grade, they don't look or feel cheap at all. Well, the plastic comb guards aren't QUITE on the same level as brand-name Wahl ones. But the actual clippers and their blades are top-notch and perform great. The most incredible thing about these is the battery life. I've had these things for over 3 months now, use them every weekend, and still haven't gone below 50% battery life on either one yet! I actually had to plug them in and charge them for the first time before writing this review, just to make sure there wouldn't be any surprise problems with the charging. Otherwise, I probably would have gone a few more months on the original charge from the factory. Personally, I like that these units charge with USB cables. However, there are two caveats that you should know about. First, this set only comes with the cables, not a charger. Sadly, that's pretty much standard for all USB stuff these days. Secondly, while it's USB on the end that plugs into the charger, the cable has a proprietary connector on the end that plugs into the clippers. So, you can't use your own normal USB cables, as you can with other clippers that use USB on both ends. However, the set does come with two cables, even though both the clipper and trimmer use the exact same plug, so you're basically getting a backup cable. The most important warning I can give is that THE PLASTIC COMB GUARDS FOR THESE CLIPPERS ARE NON-STANDARD, compared to every other pair of clippers I've ever seen before. Normally, the comb numbers represent eights of an inch (e.g. a #1 comb is 1/8 in, a #8 comb is a one full inch, etc). However, these combs are offset by two sizes. That is, if you're accustomed to using a #2 comb, then you use a #4 comb here. A standard #3 comb is actually a #5 comb with this set, etc. I wasn't paying close attention, and my first cut was WAY shorter than I was expecting! That was frustrating, but now I know. Despite being a little flimsy feeling, and having the weird size offsets, the combs that come with this set are perfectly usable as-is. However, a cool thing is that these clippers fit brand-name Wahl combs guards just fine. So, I salvaged the combs from my old worn-out Wahl clippers and are just using them instead now. Overall, there are a couple of quirks to keep in mind, but this is still an outstanding clippers and trimmer set. You get both units for around the same price that Wahl charges for clippers alone. And while the comb guards aren't quite as good as Wahl's, the actual units themselves feel like much higher quality than what Wahl sells in this range. Recommended.

Great set of trimmers. I like all the attachments it comes with, especially the left and right taper attachments. They feel very sturdy yet quite light which was a nice surprise. They're also quiet. Much more quite than expected. They still make noise but it's not deafening. They're super easy to use as well: literally take out the trimmers, take out the attachments, and trim/ shave away. They also come fully charged which I was happy about. All in all, buying these trimmers for $40 seems like a steal. Definitely recommend

The media could not be loaded. I am frugal... I do a YouTube dedicated to fishing and we use this weekly outing as a means of supplimenting our diet with free protein. And for decades I have shaved my own head in an attempt to circumvent the need to spend money with a barber. And yes, I go pretty cheap with the clippers I buy and have a tendency of replacing them once every 2-3 years. When the last pair finally gave out I opted to try these guys out, though I was super wary; the idea of a Li-ion had me concerned that the shaver would fail mid-shave and ruin my day. This package came with too, the second I deemed my backup in case the battery issue were to ever unfold. Today I am on my third haircut since purchasing these clippers and I am gushing. Wireless is obviously so much nicer than the wired pairs I've been using for years. But I have been more than pleasantly surprised by the battery life. As you can see in the video it's still at 95% battery after a month and two shaves and it of course manage to finish the job without issue. While I am suspicious of that counter; it seems to drop by 5% and not 1% at a time (it never hit 99%, 98% etc and instead jumped directly to 95%). The fact that it maintains that high of a battery after using it for over an hour is pretty impressive. It comes with the expected package that includes a comb, a bunch of standard-sized blades, the cleaning brush and a cool little scarf thing to wear so as to avoid getting hair all over your shoulders. That was pretty cool, though I found it doesn't get used on my end. I just shave in the shower. I like the chrome design but don't expect a metal housing, that's chrome plastic. Makes it lightweight, no biig deal. But if you are expecting sheepshears and something that can shave your labrador I would suggest investing in something a little more hard core. Maybe these could handle that, I suspect they wouldn't. The bag was the biggest disappointment. It's a sad, thin little drawstring tote that you are supposed to just dump everything into. Yeah, they saved some money by not investing in a case but I feel this means of storage does not do these clippers justice. It's fine, no big deal but a $20 pair of Wahl's comes with those stupid plastic cases that fold open. Those things are bulky and a pain in their own right, but man after having tried these guys I'm probably going to buy another set when they wear out and it would be nice if they came with a decent little case. Just a thought. The product itself gets a solid "A" from me.
