After comparing many options, this one looked great, also in price although a bit expensive. It seems like the outer material is water resistant. I only wish it was sturdier because if something heavy falls on it, it will surely make your pet puree. It arrived in record time.

My cat is very anxious & this helps him slowly adjust to new places by opening up each additional room/window. I was surprised when I took him to the vet, he was calm. He likes to keep the smallest hatch open, to stick his head out & get a 360 view, as I walk :) Lol I keep this open in my room, completely extended, and he enjoys sleeping in it, probably because of the soft padding on it's floor. I left a star off for sturdiness, because people may want a more tuff wiring, but for me, it is fine: doesn't fall down & keeps it's form, very well. Completely sufficient. The bottom however, is flexible, and doesn't have a very hard board to keep it flat when carrying the animal. Again, fine for me, but could be significant to others.

Flew on southwest with them both and it was nice because I could unzip some of the tents so they could spread out more. It is a rather large bag so it's kinda bulky but at least you know your pup has room. Folding it back up can be a bit tricky but it's pretty easy to get the hang of quickly. There is a large pocket on the front and a flap on the back to attach thru a seatbelt or handle of my roller luggage.

Easy to fold. Open Wide and stays. I tried other bags before. That’s the most comfortable one, better material. I wish it would come in other colors too and if there were extra pockets.

I have an 8lb chihuahua who fits perfectly in the carrier. She has enough room to move around a bit when not expanded. So far it is sturdy (I have only used it twice). It is easy to expand and refold the sides.
