First pair I had the size wrong, that was my fault. Stride Rite shoes are wonderful and the fact that these shoes come in wider width is such a bonus. It hard to find a good pair of shoes in wide sizes for a 1 year old.

We love this shoes, we purchased a bit bigger than my son’s size, but the design is to good that they do not fall out of his feet, and also the Velcro is very strong that he can not take them off by himself. We will buy again and definitely 100% recommended .

Like I said, I love this brand. They provide super durable and comfortable shoes. I actually got a pair of shoes passed down to me for my son and I’ve loved them since. I got this pair of 3.5 extra wide toddler shoes and it drives me crazy that the Velcro strap doesn’t seem to reach the other end. It’s either barely and as soon as he folds his foot it comes undone 🙃 if this is how the wide shoes work I’ll probably not purchase the wide ones anymore. My son doesn’t even have super chubby feet I wanted him to be comfortable. Take this into consideration if your baby has chubby feet. The straps don’t seem come longer… which makes no sense. ... show more

I didn’t know what to expect because I have been buying shoes and returning them because my one year old not only has wide feet but he’s got that fat on the top of his foot that prevent his foot from fitting in shoes. These shoes fit him and his feet slide in easily. They do look a little funny because they are wide. Lol ... show more
