Love this couch. I was skeptical due to the very few reviews but took the plunge and i’m so glad I did. It came nicely packed in 4 boxes and was very very easy to put together. It probably took my boyfriend and I 45 minutes total. The hardest part was removing the wooden slats holding the equipment into place but with some maneuvering it wasn’t too hard. I could see why some people had a hard time putting the covers on, but we discovered putting 3 corners on at a time and then the final one fixed it for us. The seats on the couch itself are very deep which makes it appear very large, which I like. Does it feel like I’m melting into memory foam when I’m laying on it, not necessarily, but it is still super comfortable and was exactly what I was looking for. The ottoman storage is massive and definitely a huge plus. I chose not to connect the individual pieces together with the provided equipment but the seats don’t slide apart from each other, so love that. The color was exactly what I was looking for too. I had issues immediately after opening the first box (of four total). The ottoman had pins sticking out of the holes where the legs screw in, preventing them from being able to screw in at all. This was a manufacturing defect. I opened the second box and was met with what I would consider to be one of the poorest build qualities I’ve seen in a couch. The armrest, backrest, cushions, and slipcovers are stowed away inside the frame of each of couch section. What this means is that the only actual support this couch has is two sets of horizontal springs stretched across the top of the frame. There’s nothing under them, there’s nothing else on top of them, no memory foam, no support. There is no way this holds up over time. It is completely insufficient design. My partner and I put the slipcovers on and tested it with a cushion regardless just to be sure. It was not comfortable at all. My biggest concern was sitting in between sections of the couch where the cushion is lowest and that concern was correct because you can feel the wooden frame through the cushion since the filling tapers off at the edges. We put the everything back in their boxes and started a return only to be met with horrible customer service. They offered to send a new ottoman and $100 back and ignored my request for additional return labels (as per UPS policy, they need one label per box). They were asked 3 times to send more labels and they continued to ask questions assuming I wanted to keep the item. I could not have been more clear. I have no desire to keep this couch. It is uncomfortable and I have already bought another couch elsewhere. DO NOT buy from this seller unless you enjoy playing with money and wasting time filing claims through Amazon. EDIT: 2 months later and 1 chargeback filed. I have lost $1300 on a damaged, defective couch. Amazon customer service is completely incompetent in handling a simple issue between communicating with the seller and myself. The seller was frustrating but I place all of the blame on Amazon for having such an abysmal return process for multi-box purchases. UPS would not pick up or return this item due to only receiving one label for the return. The seller could not find a way to send me additional labels and Amazon customer service was powerless to assist. If there’s one lesson to learn from my wildly negative review, it’s this: DO NOT BUY A COUCH FROM AMAZON. Amazon has not figured out how to handle large, multi-box returns and will NOT stand behind their A-To-Z Guarantee. The fact that they call it a guarantee is a joke. The only guarantee is that they will continue to pass the buck in a circle until you run out of options or offer up $1000+ to ship the item back yourself (money that many folks don’t have). Stay away from this couch, this seller, and all couches in general unless you’re ok with taking a risk. Visit a furniture store in person, sit on them yourself, and confirm the quality and craftsmanship before you get screwed out of your money. ... show more

    • A little disappointed
I searched and searched forever for a couch. I decided that while this couch didn’t have many reviews they were all 4 star so I pulled the trigger. While assembly was pretty simple we had a little issue with getting one of the pieces to lock in. The covers are a little tight and we accidentally ripped one because of that but it’s easily hidden. In terms of depth and size the couch is perfect. But the cushions are a lot thinner than I was looking for and laying across all the pieces is uncomfortable. You can feel the hardness where the pieces come together. Unfortunately, overall I was disappointed. I didn’t want to mess with sending it back but eventually this will go to the basement and we will get a new one for the living room. ... show more

Nice couch, definitely huge. I did measurements prior to buying and it was still a lot bigger than I pictured in my new space (not finished yet). The color is accurate, the cushions are not super fluffy, I did see some reviews saying they were thin, which mine are not thin but they could use more cushion. I haven’t relaxed on it for more then a couple hours so I could imagine it might become more thin over time. It was not easy to put together, and it does take a while not 30 minutes like the description says. It came in 4 big boxes that were not easy to transport, a dolly would be needed for places with stairs or an elevator. I had another person helping me and the cushions and back/arm rests are packed inside the frame, held together by thin wood pieces. The thin wood pieces need broken in half in order to get everything out, I wish another material was used, little wood chips get everywhere. Also the arm rests have metal pieces that slip in into the frame, a couple of these metal pieces were bent so they didn’t fit - had to use a hammer to get them to straighten out which took a bit. Aside from that, the rest was straightforward. Overall, I like it, I’d have to wait a little longer to determine if the cost is worth it to see how it wears. ... show more
