Initial review using 30a and LOW setting; This is saving me propane in my camper. I like that it looks more real than many others and has lots of options. My camper is 50 amp, but I’m on a 30 amp circuit right now so it won’t go on the HIGH setting. LOW setting is good enough to keep the camper warm in 30-40 degree weather. Just a heads up in case it cuts out on you, it’s probably trying to pull more power than your outlet can service. Update: I added a 50 amp service, set heat to 99 degrees and air flow to HIGH. It worked for a couple minutes in a 69 degree setting and shut off. Something still isn’t right with my setup or this device. I’ll update again after uninstalling this to check the outlet amp capacity and wiring. ... show more

We decided to DIY our own fireplace. Looks great on the wall with our 82 inch tv. Measurements were a little off but we manage to get it to fit. Came out beautiful. The fire looks real. The heating element is ok. Won’t heat up the whole room. You have to stand next to it to feel any heat. The remote works but have a beeping sound. The fireplace is just what we wanted for a little supplemental heat and ambiance. The heat output is pretty standard (about as much as a blow dryer) for plug in models. The fan is relatively quiet. The remote does have a rather loud beep and has to be pointed directly at the unit, but works as expected. The install was straight forward but the bottom edge has no flange (designed for tabletop) so you need to be exact on measuring. The only thing I think I would wish this unit had was the ability to adjust the flame brightness. It is plenty bright enough without being obnoxious, but it might be nice to turn it down. Compared to other models I research I think this was the best choice at this price point and even pricier models since the colors have more options and a temperature setting. ... show more
