The media could not be loaded. I have had my car battery dead twice as it was not used for weeks. Both times had to call emergency service via insurance. They take hours to send someone to jump-start and both times it happened when I was about to go out urgently, one being a doctor's appointment. With frustration, I decided to purchase a jump starter and keep it as a backup in my car. Pros: - Incredible build quality. One of the best I have seen for any battery-packed product. Nice design - 1500A peak current is good enough for any car/truck. Battery will let you jump start your car multiple times when it is fully charged - Multiple safety protection - Has an LED light with different modes - Has USB-A & C ports for any other charging needs - All cables and accessories needed to use this is included in the bundle - Battery charges via any other USB charger - It has a hammer at one end to break glasses during accidents - Detailed manual included - Comes pre-packed in a great hard-case carry bag. Cons: - None that I see for this price and the functionality This is a similar jump starter that emergency road services guys will bring and jump-start your car. It's rather better to keep one with you. It doesn't matter if you have an old or new car, just go for it. You will be thankful to yourself when you use this product in those emergencies.

Picked this up on sale and made a nice Christmas gift for my wife as she now has a jump start for her car. Came almost fully charged and includes a built-in light and compass, which was a nice addition. For the price, you couldn't beat it.

I have used several of these battery packs in the past few years and some are better than others. The looks of this battery are good and doesn't look terribly cheap. it feels like quality plastic and not the thin brittle type. I had a white metal covered battery pack that started to swell and that was a disaster. The metal construction and being in a hot car may have been detrimental for the longevity of that battery. This battery has good component pieces though the clamps aren't as thick and heavy duty as others I have tried. Then again, it only takes a short contact to jumpstart a battery. I haven't used it to jump since my batteries are fine, but the percentage window keeps me informed of the power level in it and there's a wide led light to help light things up in the dark when jumping at night. The power button protrudes a bit do accidental pressing is possible if you don't have it in the included bag and it gets bounced around. I currently have it in my car and so far it has not gotten swollen or lost much power. These do discharge without use so inspect every month before you get caught off guard in an emergency. Comes with the necessary cords and you can charge your devices too, if needed. This is a USB C plug device. I like this unit and it definitely gives me peace of mind having it charged up with a light and ready to go.

I needed it to jump-start my boat motor when I got stuck on the water. It worked great. I like that it is compact and easy to store which works great for boats or cars. It is a must-have. I always worry about my boat battery going dead on me when I am out and about. This was a life saver.

OK, this is one of the easiest reviews I have written. This little jump starter is absolutely amazing. I found it hard to believe that something so small could actually jump start a dead 12V car battery. So, I put it to the ultimate test - rather than connecting it to a 'weak' battery, I removed the battery completely and clamped the jump starter just to the battery cables. With the 12V battery completely removed from the system, this little baby cranked the engine like crazy! Afterwards, the digital display showed the jump starter still at 97%. At this point, I wouldn't be without one of these in the car.

Fully charged up, the unit had enough juice to jumpstart a small 4cyl 3 times total before going dead and not turning back on until recharged. The clamps are stout, but got warm to the touch after 1 starting attempt. Great to have as a emergency backup and small enough with the case to keep in the trunk or glovebox.
