I’m using curtains that have grommet built in and I find it’s a little hard to slide over there junction between the two tubes. There’s a little plastic sleeve that creates a mini ramp for the curtain to slide over but it’s contour is perhaps too steep. This is common on pretty much all curtain rods, but they should invest in a little research and development to create a more smooth transition ... show more

I was impressed with the drape pole. The poles are made of strong steel, not weak aluminum. There are silver tubes that insert inside the poles in order to attach the extension. I expected the tubes to slip out of reach inside the tube but there are stops that hold the silver tube at the 1/2 way point. Very well thought out feature. It is also provided with gasket that fit inside the tube so that the next attached section fits snugly. The ends have a pre installed insert that is threaded to accept the end ornament that simply screws on. There is a nice kit provided to attached to the wall and plenty of support brackets to hold the rod up securely even at its maximum 240 in length. We had a change of plans after receiving the rod to use a much shorter rod so rather then return and purchase a smaller rod, we sawed a steel tube to length and everything fit perfectly. ... show more

These are the second curtain rods I ordered after seeing the 1" rods I previously ordered looking a little thin with 110" curtains. These came well packaged and the extra 1/8" diameter made more of a difference than I imagined. Originally I was looking for 1.5" rods but couldn't find any for a reasonable price. Overall very happy and will be ordering more for the rest of my house ... show more
