We just hung these yesterday to replace flimsy ones that they had in the house when we bought it. These are so sturdy and not "bendy" at all. I love how they come with silver inserts for even more strength for the middle section. The coating is smooth that my grommet sheers just glide so quietly along. I am a person who likes linear lines in architecture and wondered if the little "button" on the end would annoy me in the design, but honestly, I don't even notice them. I have shopped other ones exactly the same in Wayfair and they are more expensive (also didn't have the long length we needed for a wall of windows and a slider door) but those were also very flimsy and bent/sagged even with having four brackets. So this brand was such a welcome upgrade. My husband found them to be really easy to install as well and he has put in a lot of curtain rods over our 30 yrs together☺️ DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE! ... show more

    • Rod is solid, brackets are not!

Love the rod, not the brackets it comes with. I modified the rod by cutting the telescoping ends to the desired length and that really helped with the sturdiness of the overall rod. The larger diameter rods fit together securely by use of separate beefy 12 inch metal inserts that then make it snug which makes the 1-1/8 inch rod portion rock solid and stable. Great engineering and design. The telescoping ends are not as snug, but they adjust in or out to accommodate your desired length, but those are the weakest points of the rod. All well and good. The brackets could be a much better with a cross brace. I looked online to find a separate, stronger bracket that would accommodate the 1-1/8" diameter rod, but couldn't find on Amazon. We needed to add another set of draperies to cover the double sliding door, which then exceeded the recommended weight by 20#. The rod can withstand the weight, but I'm thinking the brackets will eventually bend and fail. ... show more

I really liked the look of this curtain rod, so I saved it in my list with the hopes that it would be discounted for Amazon Prime Day. Unfortunately, it was not, but I bought it anyway because it complemented the room, and the quality was confirmed by all the reviews I read about it. However, when I received it, I noticed that one of the finials had a big chip in the corner. Instead of returning the entire thing, I contacted the vendor and told them the situation. They acknowledged my concerns, and immediately sent me a new set of finials, which I received within 3 days of my inquiry.
