Activate Stay-Open Mode keeps the lid up through the whole cleanup — scrape plates, wipe counters, and clear the table without touching the can again. The lid opens at a controlled angle to help keep your walls clean and damage-free. Get more room for every toss — this trash can holds 20% more waste thanks to its bucket-free design, using any standard 13-gallon bags. Power with 4 D size batteries (not included) for portability, or AC adapter (sold separately) for always-on convenience. Battery life up to 1.5 years. Made with high-quality 430 grade stainless steel, this trash can features an advanced oleophobic coating that naturally resists oil, fingerprints, and stays free of smudges for a clean, modern look that’s easy to maintain and built to last. The PetGuard lid lock keeps pets out of the trash, preventing messes and protecting your furry friends from harmful waste. From the kitchen to the home office or garage, this versatile trash can fits seamlessly wherever you need clean, convenient waste disposal. Its sleek stainless steel design and touchless operation make it a smart choice for any room. Designed to reduce packaging waste, the trash can lid is packed inside the can body, allowing the full-size 27.3" trash can to ship in a smaller 25" box without compromising capacity or performance. Q: Does this automatic sensor trash can feature a child and pet lock mechanism? A: Yes. This touchless model features an integrated manual Pet Lock and Child Lock switch located on the side of the lid. Engaging this safety lock disables the lid from opening, completely preventing dogs, cats, toddlers, and accidental bumps from triggering and lifting the top. Q: What size trash bags should I use for this 13-gallon kitchen garbage bin? A: No special bags needed! Any standard 13-gallon kitchen drawstring trash bag fits perfectly without expensive custom liners. The built-in trash bag retainer ring holds the bag securely in place and tucks messy bag edges completely out of sight for a clean look. Q: What are the power options for the motion sensor? Does it include an AC adapter? A: You have flexible power choices. It operates autonomously on 4 D-size batteries (not included) that last up to 2 years. For battery-free operation, it is fully compatible with the official iTouchless AC Power Adapter, which is sold separately on Amazon. Q: How does the AbsorbX Odor Filter System control garbage smells? A: The lid seals securely to trap odors and features an integrated AbsorbX Odor Filter compartment. It uses all-natural activated carbon technology to actively neutralize tough garbage smells, keeping your kitchen fresh. Includes 1 FREE Starter Carbon Filter. Q: Is the exterior stainless steel finish fingerprint-proof and easy to clean? A: Yes. The bin is constructed with premium fingerprint-proof stainless steel that naturally resists grease, dirt, and smudges. This advanced protective finish ensures the surface maintains its sleek appearance and requires only minimal wiping to stay looking new.
