Used to attach a Thule box to a 2020 Jeep Cherokee. It attached firmly and, once tightened, would not move. The clamps are well formed to fit the factory rails on the Cherokee. The clamps tighten with a simple allen screw, so there's no way to 'lock' them on, which is probably fine for most installations. The rails were low-noise and held up to fairly strong winds and highway speeds. The single screw clamp and molded plastic make me think there will be catastrophic failure at some point, but for now they seem to be holding strong. I couldn't bring myself to spend >$1000 on the Thule equivalent. For the price, they were a good deal, and exceeded my expectations. ... show more

The threaded metal bushings are set in plastic and the threaded part was machined at an angle rather then straight so when I tightened the screw rather than getting tight it pulled the bushing completely out of the plastic. This happened to two of the four bushings. I thought maybe I over tightened them until I saw how crooked the screw was in the two that failed. Seems like a quality control problem. I'm updating this to 5-star. The manufacturer replaced the fault item with a new one and this one this one is perfect. Their customer service is excellent, they stand behind their product, are quick, efficient, and painless. ... show more

I purchased these bars as the ones I wanted to get my wife were out of stock and her birthday was rapidly approaching. I was skeptical based on reviews when making this purchase, but the quality was better than I had anticipated. I don't know how secure this will stay overtime as its a single screw that clamps against the rails on the roof. My concern is that over time it could loosen as there is no way to necessarily lock it. We have yet to put anything on them yet, but they look nice. Pros Affordable. Installation was easy enough with two people. Look good. Cons Long term hold is questionable ... show more
