This is a very sturdy machine with very little assembly. I'm not sure how the battery life is calculated, but I rode from my mom's to my house, mostly bike paths. I started with a full charge - 5 bars - and rode 7 miles on the fastest mode, leaving me with one bar. That makes me think that the 15 mile range it claims is probably around the 8 mph speed. I was averaging 12 mph. But here's what I know: This scooter will give me the distance I need to retrieve my truck and trailer from the average distance between boat ramps....and that is ALL that matters.. ... show more

I can't believe how well this bike holds up! I've had other brands and this one to date is the best by far! Even my neighbor has 2 other thicker brands and his don't go as fast and mine does. I just tried his yesterday his go 20 MPH. I got my electric bike to go 30 MPH! on the 3rd setting in red! Unbelievable!! I wasn't expecting that? I highly recommend the bike!! If I had known sooner I would have just bought this brand and I would have saved big money! My neighbor couldn't believe how good this bike is too for the price! YOU WILL SEE! ... show more

We received the item and it had no power. I couldn't get up a small incline and the battery life dwindled quickly. When we went to return it we were told that we had to pay the $96.00 for the shipping cost which is half of the cost of the item. Bad business

Nice scooter for the price! The only reason I'm doing 4 stars is because they advertised it as being 500w but it's only 350w. I also wish it had suspension because the ride can be harsh over bumps. You can get a higher model with those features but it raises the price a lot. Overall it's great for the price! It can go up to 20mph pretty easy, the battery life so far is good, and the brakes work awesome. The headlight is adequate for night riding. ... show more

I would say this is an ok scooter if you don't want to go faster. I couldn't get it past about 6 miles per hour and I only weight 110 pounds. It is a simple design without many bells and whistles but ok for the price.
