    • Good Bits - But why no labels?
The bits seem to work well for the price, they have been good to learn my new machine with. - But, I being a beginner, have no idea what bits are what, and what size they are. Nothing is marked or labelled, and there is no literature with the box. I have to come back to the listing to try and figure out what size is what and use a micro caliper to measure it. I've now screenshot the size charts to help when trying to program the size in the CNC program. ... show more

What I liked: I wasn’t able to use all the bits, but the ones I did use performed well. I milled several pieces that allowed me to carve out some unwanted areas of a tube holder (was too bulky and I slimmed it down) and a metal medal that had areas I needed to remove and allow the medal to be put on a wide watch band. What I don’t like: It’s not the mill itself, it’s my being impatient. To get a precision mill cut, it’s going to take time to remove good sized areas. I have never used a home mill before and so I wasn’t used to being patient milling objects. I realize there are kits which can make the mill programmable and automatic and so I will look into that.     • Broke three of the smaller ones easily
These are not strong enough for CNC work at 1/16” depth as I broke three easily.

    • A good set of bits
Generally, this is a good set of cheaper bits and will last for a few projects if used properly. It would be nice if the tool data was included for each bit, it would be easier to add the info into design software tool databases.
