  • Cnc bits
The media could not be loaded. These set of bits are definitely worth buying. The only downfall is they are not labeled. I've used the .8mm bit to carve in aluminum. These are easy to break so I set the depth pass at .001" on my xcarve machine. I highly recommend and I will buy more for extras.

  • Better than expected for the price
This is a good variety of small bits for a reasonable price... I broke a couple but they are tiny and I was driving then pretty hard. The seem sharp, did a good job and are holding up very well.

  • Grinding tolerance
The corn mill bits work great from wood to mild steel, on a router or milling machine the flat and ball end mills work about fine for soft materials. On the outer edge of each flute of the 2-flute mills, there is a continuous band of unground steel, which should taper inward- this causes the tool to rub slightly. There is visible variation in the depth of the grinding, causing the unground section to be sized differently along the bit, and even between multiple bit there is a visible difference. I did find two ball end mills that had good edges near the bottom, which I'm pleased with, I just have a hard time understanding how you get so much variation on such a small scale. You get what you pay for, and for what you pay for this is a decent set. ... show more

  • Received Only A Box With Four Plastic Cases Of CNC Bits
I am fairly new to CNC and lasers. I've been working on CNC and laser projects for over two years now. Cutting with my 24 watt laser takes way too long. So, I've decided to use a router bit about the size of my laser, and cut out my designs. As of lately. I have been doing a lot of mandala's. They are very popular with the ladies. Maybe these CNC router bits will save me some time. So far I am quite pleased with the Genitsu CNC router bits. You receive only a carboard box containing four plastic cases of CNC router bits. No documentation of any kind. So, I printed off all the documentation from the Amazon description(see pic). Since the router bits are all in translucent plastic cases, and you can not see bits. I labeled each case(see pic). This makes it easier for me, instead of popping open each case when I want to find the right router bit. As far as the comments from the other reviews. I have no broken router bits. Searching the internet. The description below is the use for each of the four different router bits that came with this order. I am not one for buying a $12 piece of plywood, finding out I used the wrong CNC router bit, and wasted some good wood. So, a description for each of the four CNC router bits uses is helpful. There may be some veteran CNC'ers out there. And they can just pick up a router bit. Look at it, and know exactly what it's best used for. But, that's not me, maybe later down the road. Spiral Flat Nose End Mills - are versatile cutting tools used for a wide range of applications, including milling, carving, engraving, and slotting. They excel at creating flat-bottomed cuts, ideal for tasks like roughing operations, generating flat surfaces on 3D objects, and making precise 2D shapes. Ball End Mills, also known as Ball Nose End Mills - are primarily used for contouring and profiling 3D parts, especially in mold and die applications. They are also used for milling rounded slots, grooves, and for creating smooth, rounded finishes in various materials. Nano Blue Coated End Mills - are primarily used in various CNC applications and machining processes, particularly where high-speed cutting, high-performance materials, and a clean finish are required. They excel in tasks like 3D relief sculpturing, cutting, engraving, slotting, and milling. Titanium-Coated End Mills are commonly used in machining applications to improve tool life and performance. The coating helps reduce friction, leading to less wear and tear, and can enhance the cutting process by minimizing heat buildup and promoting smoother cutting. Titanium coatings also improve the surface finish of the cut parts and resist oxidation. ... show more

  • Good for hobbyist and pros
I'm just a CNC Hobbyist with a small router similar to the Genmitsu. I wanted to have good finishes, and I had issues using off-brand bits. Once I tried these in my 10,000 RPM spindle, I can tell the difference. When I upgraded to a 20,000 one, the results were even better. I use almost all the bits, based on what I want to accomplish. I only broke two by mistake when the bit plunged too much and moved too fast. Human error. But all the other still work fine. Sharp enough to tackle soft woods like pine, or in MDF. The size fits most regular cnc routers just fine. ... show more

  • Good price
I ordered collors but they were too small

  • Wish I had purchased a different brand
These would be great set of bits if they were marked with their size. These bits came with no information just several boxes of random bits. I’m new to Cnc routers and I can’t tell the size of a bit by just looking at it. There is no information such as feed rates or max rpm nothing just a plastic box. I guess I will have to use a set of calipers to measure the bits every time. SainSmart did reach out to me and gave me a full refund on the bits. They said that they would forward my complaints to the design department for improvement. I hope that they do. Customer service redeems this purchase. I'm still not happy with the bits and will have to purchase new ones but at least SainSmart listened to my feedback and made it right. So I am changing my 1 star to a 3 star based on the customer service. ... show more

  • Perfect for beginners.
Be careful not to break the smaller bits. The ones under .4 in are easy to break. The cut into the wood beautifully and so not leave many noticeable lines, that will need to be sanded down. Great beginners setup to get started with. Lots of bits for many projects.
