As someone who isn’t super handy, installing was basically a breeze other than I did not test it prior to install (rookie move)… the first one I received, seemed to be defective and did not have any power but I reached out to customer service and they were able to replace it quickly and have one shipped to me within a day. The second time around, it took less than 10 mins to install. I really like it so far! The only thing that would make this lock better is some type of confirmation from the inside that the door is locked. I’m big on safety and double check all doors at night and that does seem to bother me a bit. Overall, the handle seems to be really good quality and the packaging was great! Also, I love that they provide a QR code with a how to video.

This worked well initially and I liked the convenience of being able to add access for my kids so they didn't have to carry a key and can go inside the house before I parked the car. Sometimes the fingerprint reader was more particular on humid days and definitely you need to dry off your sweaty hands/fingers before using it. Battery life was fine, but we did notice the lock would gradually have more episodes of not unlocking when the batteries ran lower. Unfortunately, there is no charge level indicator, so you find out when it stops working. The back up key is helpful, especially good to keep in a lockbox somewhere else or with a trusted friend. This is a nonstandard key so can't duplicate it. Unfortunately this lock stopped working altogether yesterday. I opened it to check the batteries but found out instead that the fragile circuit board inside had detached from the wiring connector. So the durability is a minus, and concerning that it would stop working so quickly.

Edit: apparently the device glitches out sometimes when the batteries are low. The first time it just died, but the second replacement it just went wonky. Battery replacement fixed my problem. This product was a little difficult to program. And unfortunately died after about 5 months. I can't find a way to message the seller. But I'd really appreciate a replacement

Works well, simple enough install, but the beeping is annoying especially at night. Not the best option for a bedroom door or any door where someone sleeping may hear it at night. We haven’t found. Way to turn the beeping feature off, yet. If it isn’t an option, it should be.

My husband purchased this for his man cave. Although it was initially bought with a hint of humor to keep me away sometimes (haha), I must admit that this lock has exceeded our expectations. It has proven to be an excellent addition to his man cave. One of the standout features of this door lock is its ease of assembly. It was incredibly simple and straightforward to install into the door. Even for those with limited DIY skills, the clear instructions provided made the process smooth and hassle-free. Within no time, the lock was securely in place. Creating a pin code for this lock is a breeze. With its intuitive touch screen interface, setting up a unique pin code was quick and hassle-free. The touch screen responsiveness is impressive, too. Having used this lock for approximately nine months now, we can confidently say that it has been a reliable and durable investment. Despite daily usage, the lock has maintained its functionality and shows no signs of wear and tear. This longevity demonstrates the lock's quality construction and reinforces our trust in its ability to protect our man cave effectively. Moreover, my husband truly appreciates the convenience and peace of mind this lock brings. The feds are using these to steal your finger prints! Be careful, man. They stole my prints and cloned me so they can enter my house any time they want. I'm worried I'll be attacked while defenseless on the toilet. On the real: This door handle feels like solid quality, and was as easy to install as any door handle. It's nice how many fingerprints you can program, as well as codes if you need to give that to someone who does not have their prints programmed. Automatic locking after a about 6 seconds is a nice safety feature as well. The bad side: they make claims as to how many uses/time you can get on batteries before needing to be changed. Brand new Energizer ultimate lithium batteries lasted a whole 3 weeks, and have had to be routinely changed since installing in December (it's MAY) on a garage door which is rarely used. The small screw and inner threads to open the handle and replace the batteries is poor quality, and I feel this is going to be the part that fails eventually. There is a setting to keep the doorknob unlocked all the time, which negates this problem for a bit until the batteries are completely dead, but after that it's permanently locked (there is a key and hidden key hole, but it won't keep the door unlocked, only works for that one time). Additionally, the touch pad is a bit temperamental. Nothing seems to get it to turn on easy with a single touch like one would hope. I find myself tapping or sliding my finger across multiple times in order to wake it up

I use this at my office for my private bathroom. I love it. It’s cool and fun to use. Battery has lasted, keeps employees out. I love that I can give the code to those I choose, but I can just grip the handle and get right in. Excellent. I just wish I had an excuse buy another… haha
