This is our first iRobot Roomba. It was much better than our last brand robot. We found that although the hair doesn't get stuck to the rollers, it will wrap around the side brush. Overall I like it but I regret not getting the one with the mopping function. Pro: Has good cord avoidance! Can set exclusion zones. Think areas with lots of cords like under the TV entertainment center and computer desk. Can set cleaning zones. I like that I can set schedules to clean part of the house one day and full house on other days. It empties itself! That was something our last vacuum did not do. Cons: The constant bumping into walls. It does have obstacle detection, why hit the walls? The app complains that parts need to be replaced, like the bag in the docking station, when it's not even one quarter full. The very very loud sound when it empties the robot. Scares my dog. The App: Not really part of this robot, but related. I like the app control where I can tell the robot to skip my office when I'm on a conference call! Sweet. ... show more

This has been a life saver! I honestly didn’t realize how much dirt was being tracked in the house until we checked the bag after the first week. We have vinyl plank floors, carpet in the bedrooms, and even some decorative rugs and it does great! Overall I would definitely recommend!

This is my second iRobot. I put this one downstairs and put my old one upstairs. I love that it empties the dirt into a throwaway bag. It requires less care than my old iRobot 900.

The media could not be loaded. Once upon a time, I bought a Roomba 655 from Costco. It worked so well, I replaced the battery. Many many years later, I decided to treat myself to an Amazon Prime Day deal and bought the j6+. What’s not to love? It empties itself. It’s app controllable. No more moving beacons around or dragging my poor hapless 655 out from under the couch because it didn’t know to go home. Alas, the j6 fails to do the ONE JOB it has. It does not actually vacuum up debris. After spending over an hour with customer support, who was clearly reading from a script, I gave up. Sending it back. Epic fail iRobot. (Customer support said, aha! That hair around the castor wheel is the problem- see pic). ... show more

This mop is worse than useless. It would run over thick mats and rugs, getting them wet then transferring dirt all over the floor. There’s so little pressure that it barely touched the tile, just enough to leave black streaks everywhere. It routinely stopped, got stuck, glitched, malfunctioned and had to be rescued. If you want to waste time, money, be inconvenienced, and have to clean much harder to get rid of the marks it leaves everywhere, definitely get it. ... show more
