    • I have run this so far for several months. Quite impressed with results and robustness.
I was hesitant in spending that much on a robot cleaner and had only hopeful expectations, but I'm quite pleased with the results. We have carpeting upstairs and hardwood floors downstairs and Broonie (That's what we called our unit) does a very reliable job. We set up auto cleaning for downstairs, so there is a regular schedule of cleaning in different parts of the house. The initial set-up and learning took only a day or two, and we have found if we know the schedule and prepare a bit, everything runs smoothly. As for the upstairs, we mapped that as a separate map and run that on Saturdays. I'm impressed with the robot's ability to remember the layout and hazard (keep out) zones as well as I can define custom zones that overlap rooms (like the hall and main through path in the dining area, or the kitchen bar area or the family room rug, that is a sub-set of a room.) The unit let's me know specifically what (if any) issues have arisen, like it is time to clean out my main rollers, or time to replace the docking station bag and several other maintenance or upkeep issues. It also links directly to images or videos available to do the maintenance. The only two issues I've had are: 1) Several times the schedules I set up were cleared by the system. I finally figured out that if something is changed (like I've added a keep out zone, or modified a room separation), that seems to clear the schedules from memory. I solved this problem by printing out a screen shot of the schedules page, so I can easily re-load them if a glitch occurs. I would recommend they figure out how to upload schedules to the cloud (like the maps do.) 2) The unit does not do well at night if it is too dark (low light is okay), but I solved this by adding some smart plugs in several areas that I coordinate lights coming on during cleaning schedules. ... show more

Overall it’s great. Helps with housework a lot but we have had some docking issues and navigation problems. For the cost, I do expect a bit better quality product.
