I have a family of six and just recently bought a home with a small dining room. I wanted to buy a table that wasn’t too big but would be able to fit all of us and looked nice. I saw this dining set and took a chance since there were no reviews on it but the measurements were what I was looking for. I put it together myself, which took about 40 minutes. The table and chairs are light, but sturdy, and although it’s narrow, it fits my whole family (and we’re not small either). I’ve been using it with the leaf in it, but the leaf is easy to remove and install. The material is okay, I would say it’s a step below an IKEA table, and only time will tell how well it lasts, but for now it works well and we are all happy with it.

It’s a good low cost table, it was very easy to put together I think it took us about 30-45 minutes. The black is pretty, however this finish catches and holds finger prints and hand prints. All you have to do is barely touch it and you have prints so just know you will be wiping it down fairly often. The benches are really small. They are fine for kids, even bigger kids but not real practical for full size adults. 2 adults can sit on each bench but not very comfortably. My husband and I each weigh 175 lbs and they were just too thin for us so I bought a set of black chairs on Amazon, so for $300 I have a super nice set I’m happy with. The table and benches are very sturdy and seem like they will hold up for a long time. **NOTE** the benches DO fit under the table when it’s not extended. When the leaf is removed only the top slides. Not the entire frame of the table. I like this feature for space saving.

Very thin, very cheap looking, looks nothing like the photos. Top is only half inch thick, metal legs are much smaller diameter, chairs look cheaper than folding chairs. If that wasnt bad enough, they wont give you a paid shipping label for return. And since it is so heavy, you will pay a fortune to send back. Please please do not waste your money or support this seller in anyway!!

This product was easy-ish to install and looked cute in my moms dining room. I got it as a gift as she had a huge table she wanted to get rid of. This table was small enough and long enough for her to still have her and my 3 siblings eat together at the dinner table. The seats are wooden and somewhat uncomfortable and are not worth getting unless you have seat cushions. The facts that you can open and close the table is a great feature.

We live in a 850 sq ft 1950's house with no eat in kitchen or dining room. I looked high and low for folding or leaf tables but realized we wouldn't use the table if we had to constantly set up and tear down. This modular set has been a true surprise in functionality and style. Not only does it fit our space perfectly, but we can make it as compact or spread out as we want by tucking both benches under completely. When I had a movie night we used one of the benches at the couch for an extended coffee table/food spread situation. The table top and frame are high quality for what they are. There haven't been any issues maintaining it and while I try to use coasters with hot and cold beverages I sometimes forget, no marks or unsightly stains so far! In the beginning we thought we'd have to get some 1-2" memory foam or padding custom made upholstery bench cushions to soften, but we have quickly realized that being able to comfortably slide on and off the benches is nice, and we have gotten used to the bench style seating. For guests, sometimes we'll just fold a thin blanket so it looks like a cushion and place that for them if desired. The leaf expands easily and truly increases the top of the table while not impacting the base, so the benches can still slide completely under! I have some folding wooden chairs and other typical dining height chairs that work on the ends perfectly. Larger friends and family have been able to comfortably hang out and dine on this set, so it's a winner!

Really like this table! It also arrived sooner than estimated which was really nice. It was in excellent condition with no visible wear and tear aside from the packing box. I, (a female) assembled it myself in about 40 minutes and it was not hard or confusing at all. I read a review that said the benches didn’t fit under the table when it isn’t extended, but that’s not true. It fits perfectly underneath the table even when it’s not extended (as shown in the pictures). Also love the fact that the legs of the table and benches are metal and not wood so it can withstand weight. It fits perfectly in with my small kitchen space yet can be extended when we have more guests. Definitely going to be using this for a long time. Quality is good and sturdy! Recommend, recommend, recommend!
