In the Netherlands these devices are almost non existent, even though there is plenty of choice for cats and dogs. This device it suitable for rabbits as they can't reach the essential parts. We defined a schedule for feeding twice per day and it just works. We won't leave the rabbits alone for days, but this gives us some extra freedom. Two feature requests though: * option to define the portion size when using the physical button (standard portion for our rabbits is 8 feedings) * better smart home integrations. I tried to connect it to my smart home but this does not work.

I really like this feeder. I've been using it for my guinea pigs for several weeks now and it functions as expected. I like that it has a battery backup option and has hefty C batteries for that purpose. The wifi functions only when plugged into usb-C power to conserve the power on an outage. It also hasn't had any issues dispensing our pellets. If you are using an acrylic cage, you may have to be crafty to get this to work for you as the design is more meant for wire cages.

Bought this for my daughter’s bunny. It keeps getting jammed up and won’t dispense the pellets. Feel like I wasted my money.

This feeder was an absolute godsend for when I traveled for a couple of days. It allows you to program using the app, for a certain schedule. Comes with different sized hatches for differently spaced wire cages and had enough storage space to last for at least 4 days while I was gone, depending on the pellet size and mix you use.

This feeder is easy to install, holds a lot of food and is easy to use. We have 2 large rabbits and this stores enough food for them.

The media could not be loaded. I love that this product is designed to hang on a cage and designed for smaller pets. I use Manna Pro rabbit food which has slightly smaller pellets than the other rabbit foods I've tried, and each time I dispense I get 1/3 of a quarter cup. My small rabbit only eats one quarter of a cup daily so this lets me give him 3 feedings daily. Currently the Amazon item description says you can feed "pellets, sticks, and specialized shapes" but the product directions say "Don't use special-shaped food". I'm still giving it 5 stars because this feeder works so much better for my rabbit than my other 2 feeders. I love that it uses a USB cable instead of a DC adapter cable because it's easier to replace if he chews through it, which my other rabbit has managed to do to her pet feeder twice in 6 months. (I think the cat may have pushed the cable where she can reach it because I've seen him push things towards the rabbit cage to play with her). I am a bit concerned about longevity. The flapwheel/rotor inside that portions out food doesn't look as durable as the thick silicone one in my first pet feeder, but the flaps slide out of the wheel so I might be able to replace those if they wear out. I'd be happier if I saw iPettie selling that as a replacement part though. Also it has some hard plastic parts inside the cage; my rabbit hasn't yet seemed interested in chewing that in the last few days but I will update the review if that changes. My bunny Tyrion has chewed through a cheap cage wire that my bunny Sansa left alone, so if any rabbit tries to chew it, it will be him I use a converted dog cage on a homemade pipe riser and I didn't have to cut my cage to install; you may have to if your cage holes are much under an inch square. It was much easier to setup than both of my other two pet feeders and uses it's own app. The directions appear to have been written by someone with a command of the English language, unlike my other two. Update: 5.5 months later, this rabbit feeder is still going strong and metering out 3 feedings daily. I'm incredibly happy to have had the opportunity to review it because it is one of my favorite things I've received from Amazon ever.

Well I got this item slightly used, after i got it all put together, i found out i was missing the c charger port and the second disposal spout that i wish i had right now. However everything works the way it should.
