  • Excellent HDMI Switcher, supports all the modern resolutions and formats
This is one of the better HDMI switchers on the market. First and foremost, the remote actually works. Some of the cheaper models I've had in the past, the remote is total garbage. Secondly, it switches quickly between HDMI sources. Other switches tend to flake out when changing input sources...this one is very reliable. Push the input button, and it switches inputs almost instantly. Last but not least, the UGREEN switch supports those higher bandwidth 120/240Hz refresh rates that most HDMI switches will not. Works perfectly with PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2. ... show more

So far works well. Remote is convenient and doesn’t interfere with tv. Does exactly what I wanted/Needed. Theres cheaper options available if you want only 2 HDMI slots a d no remotes , but I decided to spend the extra money and I don’t regret it

  • A Traffic Cop for Your High-End Signals
If your living room is a digital traffic jam of consoles, PCs, and streaming boxes all fighting for one HDMI port, this UGREEN 8K HDMI switch is the level-headed traffic cop keeping order. With 5 inputs and 1 output, it’s a clean, practical way to juggle multiple devices without getting up and fumbling behind your TV like you’re trying to defuse a bomb. What Works (The Good Stuff): ✅ 8K@60Hz Ready – Future-proof enough to handle next-gen consoles or a beefy gaming PC. If you’re pushing 4K120, though, you might need to double-check specs on your cables and source devices, but for 8K60 it holds steady. ✅ Auto-Switching – It senses active inputs and switches intelligently, though you may still prefer the included remote for manual override (which works well). ✅ Solid Build – Metal chassis, feels sturdy, doesn’t flex like bargain-bin switches. The ports grip well, no wobble or cheap-plastic creaks. ✅ Plug and Play – No nonsense, no drivers, no confusing setup. Connect, power, and go. ✅ Great for Consolidation – Cuts down on cable swaps and input wear on your pricey TV or receiver. What Misses the Mark (Cons): ⚠️ No True 4K@120Hz Support – Despite the 8K60 bragging rights, it can’t handle 4K120 at full spec reliably, which might frustrate PS5 or Xbox Series X players chasing max frame rates. ⚠️ Remote Could Be Smarter – Functional, but feels cheap and uninspired, with a mushy button feel. ⚠️ No eARC Passthrough – If you rely on advanced audio return features, you’ll have to route sound another way. ⚠️ Bulkier Than It Looks – It’s not enormous, but if you’re working with a tight TV cabinet, measure twice before you buy. Bottom Line The UGREEN 8K@60Hz HDMI Switch 5-in-1 Out is a rock-solid way to manage a modern, high-bandwidth home theater, especially if you’re juggling multiple consoles and a PC. It won’t satisfy hardcore 4K120 esports diehards, but for everyday 4K or future 8K setups, it keeps your system organized and your cables untangled. In short? It’s the bouncer your HDMI lineup needs: organized, strong, and reasonably priced. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ — Four stars for being a dependable, well-built signal manager with only a few minor shortcomings. ... show more

  • Excellent well built and designed switchbox.
Very well- built box. Nice spacing for all connections. Handy button for switching on top and nice remote also. I like all the different products I have from Ugreen. (I use their cables and connectors too.)

  • Great alternative and more flexible than KVM!
Works at 4K @ 120 HZ and HDR. I chose to use one of these on each monitor instead of a KVM. That way it functions more like a matrix switch, but much less expensive. I have 3 monitors, and a cable from each computer to each switch. So I can run triple display on my Mac, my PC, my work PC, a server, a laptop, etc. or have any combination of monitors showing from each computer. I use a separate switch for Keyboard and Mouse switching (currently just a basic USB 2.0 switch, but moving to a L1Techs KM switch because the plugging/unplugging of keyboard and mouse for each switch is painful). The remote works great. The problem is that because I have 3 switches, the remote controls all 3 at once, which is fine if you want to run a triple display on just one PC. For other combinations you have to use the button on the switch. I do wish the button was on the front though, so that I could stack these. If another company makes one with the button on the front, I may have to "switch". ... show more

  • Take the positive reviews with a grain of salt.
Honestly it works...sort of. Had a lot of strange signal drop between screens and menus, then reconnection to soundbar...I'm not net to setting this type of home theater stuff up through eARC or passing through audio/video from apps like Kodi and streamer boxes. This just half works, it's one of those fixes that does not come without compromises. For me the device was finicky to say the least, I used my Switch 2 to test one of the ports and the switch did not register a connection to the console. Had to cycle the connection manually with the button on the device before it showed the screen...multiply that times 5 and you get the picture...or black screen. I really wish TV manufacturers would stop pretending that the average household only has 3 devices that plug into a television. My solution was ultimately to just buy another HDMI switcher with two inputs for the video game consoles and plug those into the space HDMI input of my soundbar, the rest of my connections will route through my tv and use eARC. Tried all kinds of ways to make this work and there was noticeable auto sync issues because there is always going to be a tiny amount of latency with these middle man type of devices, something weird happens where it creates sync issues that you have to compensate for somewhere else. Not worth the hassle so I'm just returning this and getting creative with the native ports. I promise I'm not helpless and this isn't user error, this just isn't that great of a solution and it's been many years without one so maybe the unicorn doesn't exist. If you need more ports consider a low end AV receiver, I think that's what I'm going to do next. Ugreen made a decent device, but the connections one these type of solutions are never without fault. ... show more
