  • Excellent HDMI Switcher, supports all the modern resolutions and formats
This is one of the better HDMI switchers on the market. First and foremost, the remote actually works. Some of the cheaper models I've had in the past, the remote is total garbage. Secondly, it switches quickly between HDMI sources. Other switches tend to flake out when changing input sources...this one is very reliable. Push the input button, and it switches inputs almost instantly. Last but not least, the UGREEN switch supports those higher bandwidth 120/240Hz refresh rates that most HDMI switches will not. Works perfectly with PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2. ... show more

  • Better than BestBuy "smart" ones
5 channels each with 9 consoles made me order 2. One remote will control both which is fine. Build is clean, works solid every time with no delay in response time and a clean picture. Easy to use and works the way it should be for cheaper than rocket fish ones I bought from best buy randomly changing channels on me. Good value for sure. ... show more

  • Great HDMI 5 in 1 Switch with Power Cord
If you get an HDMI switch, get one with the power cord. I ordered one without it and my TV couldn't pick it up because it didn't have enough power. I got this switch from UGREEN with the power cord and it worked GREAT! It was easy to set up and easy to use. I would recommend this HDMI switch and would buy it again. ... show more

  • Great when you find one that works.
Well, these HDMI switches can certainly be a crap shoot. I've now had two of these. One that has worked fairly well and the first which simply refused to work at all. I will say for the cost of this switch made is is highly appealing and it's worth the headache to find one that works. The build quality is fairly impressive based on looks alone however that can't be a measure for how well then internals are constructed obviously. But once you have a good unit the value for the money is absolutely there. Tried a well rated switch for days before settling on this one and the big draw for me was UGreen itself. I've bought some really high quality products from them in the past and I felt, given the reviews for most HDMI switches this was my best beat. And overall it's paid off. The signal quality from every port is nearly perfect. A slight HDR static can occur but quickly disappears as the HDMI handshakes take place. The audio signals are nearly perfect. My PC apparently had a problem sending any audio other than 7.1 PCM to anything other than an Amp, Soundbar or TV so I gave up trying to use this with that, but that was easily solved. Every device I have works perfectly with the exception of the PS5. I don't know what Sony's got going one with that dumb thing but Dolby Atmos just will absolutely NOT work with anything even remotely outside of a television or amp. HDR signals all come through perfectly. 11.2.1 Dolby Atmos, DTS X, True HD, PCM, etc. all work without issues from all of my other devices and I'm able to use VRR/144Hz signals at 4K with zero noticeable lag. I won't say there isn't any because every device had some lag when you have to use a go between for functionality, but as I said I don't notice anything. Additionally, the switching from one input to the next works exceedingly well and the remote is instantly responsive. So much so it worked with my old Harmony remote system flawlessly. There's no auto switching but given my experience with that tech I prefer telling the switch what device to focus on. So, with all this high praise why the 4/5? It's not perfect. If it worked with my PS5 properly, absolutely. I'd even be able to overlook the fact that it took two of these things to get one that works, but it doesn't. It's unbelievable to me that after two decades we still can't get HDMI switches that simply work as advertised. I'm sure HDCP and HDMI eARC have something to do with it, but it is what it is. So, 4/5 it is. TLDR, 4/5 took two units to find one that works. Hopefully it don't take you as many or even more (cringe). Works flawless with nearly everything, expect PC and PS5 audio signals over HDMI. ... show more

  • Works well
Splitter does Dolby Vision, Atmos, 4K HDR 120 mhz, I have had other splitters often fail at one of those but this one has not so it is very good for gaming. Some other splitters would flicker, degrade quality or not pass through sound right. The PC was usually what other splitters had some problems with sometimes sound but this hasn’t. I use it with PC, Switch, PlayStation just need to keep it powered which most switchers will need to work properly. You can manually switch or use the remote, from what I have noticed those auto switch ones have more problems outputting everything so I would not go that route unless it’s for older devices. ... show more

  • Take the positive reviews with a grain of salt.
Honestly it works...sort of. Had a lot of strange signal drop between screens and menus, then reconnection to soundbar...I'm not net to setting this type of home theater stuff up through eARC or passing through audio/video from apps like Kodi and streamer boxes. This just half works, it's one of those fixes that does not come without compromises. For me the device was finicky to say the least, I used my Switch 2 to test one of the ports and the switch did not register a connection to the console. Had to cycle the connection manually with the button on the device before it showed the screen...multiply that times 5 and you get the picture...or black screen. I really wish TV manufacturers would stop pretending that the average household only has 3 devices that plug into a television. My solution was ultimately to just buy another HDMI switcher with two inputs for the video game consoles and plug those into the space HDMI input of my soundbar, the rest of my connections will route through my tv and use eARC. Tried all kinds of ways to make this work and there was noticeable auto sync issues because there is always going to be a tiny amount of latency with these middle man type of devices, something weird happens where it creates sync issues that you have to compensate for somewhere else. Not worth the hassle so I'm just returning this and getting creative with the native ports. I promise I'm not helpless and this isn't user error, this just isn't that great of a solution and it's been many years without one so maybe the unicorn doesn't exist. If you need more ports consider a low end AV receiver, I think that's what I'm going to do next. Ugreen made a decent device, but the connections one these type of solutions are never without fault. ... show more

  • Best HDMI switch I've ever had
Ok I have to say having use multiple HDMI switches in the past This is by far the best one I've ever had and will be buying a few more. What sets this apart from others is that it actually works. Others I've used tend to lose the signal and you spend more time fiddling with the switch trying to get signal but often to no avail. This one right out of the box worked flawlessly it does have a slight delay in between inputs but it works it has a solid feel and the remote works well too. I would not look anywhere else if you're looking for a switch sure it is a little on the pricey side but it's worth it to not have to deal with an item that doesn't work This one just works. I have not checked to see if the HDMI output performs above 60 hz just because I don't have a monitor that performs above that so maybe someone else has some insight on that ... show more
