  • This gorgeous Colored Ionantha Guatemala Tillandsia air plant is low maintenance. The color of the air plant is organically enhanced and easy to care for. The coloring will last about the same as a normal bloom cycle. Please note these are live plants and with flourish if given moderate light and flexible watering.
  • You will receive 1 air plant with care instructions.
  • Watering - Once a week completely submerge the air plant in water and allow to soak for 30-60 minutes. After soaking remove from water and gently shake off excess. NOTE: it's very important to NOT let air plants remain wet for long periods of time.
  • Light - Indirect light is best, as air plants need bright light, but not direct sunlight. Any bright room, or brightly lit room would do best or in a shady outdoor are. These air plants even thrive in home/offices with bright lighting.
  • Display: Do NOT put your air plant in soil. You can display anywhere you can dream up, like terrariums, on drift wood, in vases, jars, shells, urchins, ect.

I love this. It arrived a week early and looks healthy and exactly like in the picture. Problem is that I thought it would look nice in this 3 inch planter I have. Unfortunately not so much. I'll try it with some gravel I guess.

Luckily I had an empty "shell" from a previous air plant that did not survive, because This air plant just came by itself without any kind of "holder." However, it is true to it's color and looks fine!

Was favorably impressed with the intense blue color...so vivid :) I have a green thumb and pray this works as well as all my others. After 2 or 3 weeks, I still Love it !! 2-21-24 ... Well, one year later and it died, it's SO missed, it just lost its color, curled up some and roots looked dry even tho I soak it each weekend for 20-30 min.....Might try again, as I have 4 others (green Octopus style) for a couple years....These ARE fun <3 ... show more
