  • Very good pool, not so good connections and hoses.
Size: 24' x 52" Set name: Updated Packaging
So very excited to have gotten our pool up. We had a stainless steel pool for 15 years and it collapsed. Because we had quite a deck around it, we wanted a replacement quickly. In our area, installers are limited so it would have been next summer before we could get one installed. We chose the same size Intex pool and pleased to say it is pretty good. It was easy to put up especially we already had a level spot. As most say the last piece is a bear but with patience we got it! The only thing I wish they would do differently is get better pump hoses and connections. We already have 2 major leaks so I have to go out and try to find something better. The large pump and hoses we had on our old pool won’t work unless we cut in a skimmer which we will do next year. The pump that came with it is good but I have no confidence in the connections and hoses. The first day the one by the pump leaked and now the one up at the inlet keeps working itself loose and really leaks. I can’t run the pump unless we are out there to make sure we tighten it back down. I checked with our pool store and they only have the clamp on kind. Otherwise, the pool is great, durable and a very good size. Would recommend for sure!! ... show more

  • We LOVE this pool!
Size: 26' x 52" Set name: Updated Packaging
Very impressed by this pool! I would definitely recommend purchasing it! We did buy a larger pump and filter just because we’ve had above ground pools in the past and the ones that come with them aren’t always the best. I can’t comment on this pool’s filter and pump since we never used them. The pool shipped very fast, was a great price and setup was super easy with 3 adult men. They had it up and filling in less than an hour. We had our grandchildren slide along the inside as it was filling to get all the wrinkles out. Great purchase for the whole family to enjoy! ... show more

  • Nothing to regret; very satisfied with this pool
Size: 18' x 52" Set name: Original Packaging
I’ve been buying Intex pools since 2018. My first was a 10 by 30 easy set pool that sat in the driveway. A few years later I upgraded to a 12 by 30 easy set. When we moved and bought a house I bought the 16 by 48 Prism (pictured). We loved that pool. The set up was easy and because we had a designated spot for it, we would take it down each winter and put it up each summer. Unfortunately, after 5 years, the pool deteriorated and so I got the 18 by 52 XTR. I love love love this pool. The set up was similar to the prism except the liner rods are shaped differently. The set-up was easy but it took a little more maneuvering as the new pool is bigger so we had to remove slabs that we had set into the sand that had served for the 16 inch. Once the setup was complete, I filled it about 5 inches and checked for leaks. No leaks detected so I kept going. I paused in the night and resumed in the morning and we are just about filled. I have a sand filter I bought years ago so I continued using it. It connects perfectly and I am about to shock it and open it officially. Until I am ready for something more permanent, I will continue with my above grounds and Intex is the brand I trust and the only brand I ever used and I have never been disappointed. This upgrade to the 18 inch was worth every penny. Also the delivery was for June 10th but was delayed and Amazon displayed a delivery date a week out. However, I was able to use the delivery service’s website and track it and it was scheduled to come the following day which it did. I would highly recommend this pool and I think I will winterize it this time and see how it holds up. Thank you Intex for giving us house owners a safe and cheaper option to enjoy. ... show more

  • Good for a beginner pool
Size: 24' x 52" Set name: Original Packaging
First off this is our first pool, and has been a bit of a learning curve. 24’x52” XTR We have had it up for a couple months and have gotten a ton of use out of it already. I kept it in my cart over the winter waiting for a sale, and at Easter they went 25% off. Definitely worth saving for a pop up sale, we saved a ton. And fast shipping from Amazon of course Shipping: Came in one giant box, delivery guy struggled to get in our garage. We had to unbox there and take all the pieces but overall packaged well 10/10 Setup: We had 3 people to set this up, and it completely whooped us. The area was prepped and leveled out, and we did a layer of XPS foam on top to provide a flat surface. The liner weighs a ton, and it is difficult to slip the cross bars through due to the rubber sticking to the metal. This has to be done while someone holds the weight of the rim so the leg can be put on after. And the feet are Terrible! They have nothing to hold them to the post so they will just fall off when trying to adjust. Super annoying. Overall It’s a simple process but extra hands would help a ton here, if we did again we’d have bribed a couple more people to help. Pump is relatively easy to hook up, but depending on your setup the hoses lay on the ground. We resolved by putting a couple zip ties at the T and held them up. *It should be known that we have had to adjust the feet once and will have to adjust more in depth this fall. The weight of this pool once full is crazy. A pretty large portion of our pool on one end started sinking and got to the point of being 3” lower. During the initial prep work we rode over the whole area with a commercial skid steer before tamping with a hand tamp. Even with all that it had nothing on the weight of this pool, seriously. The only way we could fix without draining all water was to drain half, use a bottle jack to lift up posts and add additional pavers. Now after a couple months it has started sinking even more, but finally settled. It is just unbelievable how much this thing weighs, I believe we calculated right at 100,000lbs. We will be draining completely, adding more fill and sand and reinstalling. 6/10 Maintenance: Honestly maintaining it has been super easy. We don’t have any trees, bushes etc around our back yard so the only thing we get in it is dirt, grass clippings and bugs. We purchased one of the basic intex skimmer baskets that clamp on and float inside and it works pretty well. We might upgrade to an in wall skimmer at some point. I bought the cheap index kit skimmer and pole, a big brush to go on the end, and a wireless handheld skimmer. We use weekly shock packets usually the day after heavy use, and keep 3” tablets in the floater. We had to play around with the PH and Alkalinity but got it pretty spot on and has been clear since. The pump for this thing is excellent so far, super strong even with the skimmer basket attachment. Just don’t forget to backwash and rinse every couple weeks(probably more often if you get a lot of debris). We vacuum once a week or just as needed for maybe 20 minutes max. 8/10 (feel like it should come with some of this necessary stuff but I get it cheap pool the moneys in the accessories) Overall I would definitely recommend this pool. It is an affordable option to get into pools without spending a ton on a permanent above ground pool. I recommend expecting to spend at least double the cost of the pool for your setup, chemicals, and maintenance equipment. At first this was the project that just kept sucking money until we finally got everything we needed, now it’s been our favorite part of the yard for the summer. Pros: -Relatively easy setup -Affordable -Great Pump -easy to maintain -great way to get into pools and learn proper care without jumping into the hinge spend of fancier above ground pools Cons: -Doesn’t come with any Accessories -Ladder is junk, extremely wobbly and think plastic/metal -feet don’t stay on and are tiny -Cover is junk, will not stay on pool at all -May need readjusting ... show more

  • Great pool.
Size: 18' x 52" Set name: Updated Packaging
I’ve had the best time in pool with my grandson this summer brake. It’s a perfect width and height. Worth the money. Not hard to put up but does take a couple of days to put up. The most important thing is the ground leveling. Watch videos on YouTube.

  • Intex Pools = Garbage. Recalls, kids drowning, now manufacture defects. SPREETAIL will steal your $
Size: 22" x 48" Set name: Updated Packaging
DO NOT BUY FROM SPREETAIL!!! WARNING We were in the market for a backyard pool for my kids, and wanted one in advance of my son's 9th birthday party. I spent a lot of time reading about brands and although reviews for intex are HEAVILY inconsistent (they already recalled pools due to children dying in them), I trusted that this seller/item was official on *Amazon Prime*. I spend thosands of dollars every year on amazon items, nearly a new delivery every day from specialty groceries to dog food to household items to a pool.... The box arrived delivered in my driveway late on a Monday afternoon. Tuesday, we unboxed it to begin assembly. It about 4 hours as we were being very meticulous to do it correctly and carefully. Just about the time to insert the liner and start filling the pool- we saw that there was about a 4-6 inch tear in the seam where the "tab" portion of the liner attaches to the poles. I have since read that this is a very common issue with the new design of this pool since their last design was letting kids get a foothold and drown. This is another design issue. It wasnt even a hole, it was as if the liner where it was supposed to attach to the pole just was not assembled together properly or create a seal. Again, we had not even put a drop of water in this yet. I immediately reached out to amazon- again, less than 24 hours after delivery, because I was initially in a hurry to try to receive a replacement in time for my sons birthday party, but also because I wanted to leave no doubt that we didnt use or damage this item, that it arrived with a manufacture defect. Amazon customer service was NO help. They said- sorry, you need to contact the seller. What is this, EBAY? Why is it certified PRIME If I am going to be forced to contact spreetail directly? UGH. In any case, I reach out to spreetail and ask a bunch of questions, they give horrible customer service and dont even fully answer any of the questions I have. So I try to call. What do you know, its a call center in India who cannot help me at all. The seller did manage to "assure me" that as long as I broke down the pool and put it back on a pallet that we would get it picked up and receive a refund. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to repackagin a pool into the original packaging???? We are now about 10 hours into to WASTED TIME assembling then breaking down this stupid pool, and trying to be meticulous about packaging to their standard. Fit it into the box, bought plastic wrapped and plastic wrapped it all up so that it was an air tight seal and completely protected for the return. I ordered a replacement (yes, paid ANOTHER $1,400 in attempt to get it ASAP and try to save my son's birthday, too bad it still didnt arrive in time and we had to cancel his party and go somewhere else, which cost me more unplanned money) and then that pool has since arrived and we assembled it and filled it with (seemingly) no issues, knock wood. Guess what? Spreetail has now reached out to me and advised me that they will only issue me $600 of the $1400 I spent as a refund, due to "restocking fees" and "returning a product not in original condition." I cant make this stuff up. I reached out to Amazon customer serice once more to share my outrage (mind you, I am currently out almost $3,000 at this point) and Amazon just says - oh, sorry, its up to the seller to issue the refund. I have completely lost confidence in Amazon and will be ordering ALL items from WALMART from now on. At least if something goes wrong, I am able to drive to a brick and mortar store and drop the crap back off to someone who speaks English and get my refund. I SUGGEST EVERYONE DO THE SAME!! AMAZON IS GARBAGE. SPREETAIL IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. INTEX POOLS ARE JUNK. ... show more

  • Strong sand filter pump system keep the water clean.
Size: 24' x 52" Set name: Updated Packaging
We bought this pool a couple weeks ago. The sand filter is strong and works well to keep the water clean. The Pool itself is made very well and easy to install. The ladder was a little difficult for one person to put together but it’s strong. I’m 165 pounds and felt safe stepping up and down off the ladder. I would recommend this pool for hours of fun. ... show more

  • Great Value!
Size: 18' x 52" Set name: Updated Packaging
I’ve had this pool for over a month now, and it’s the best quality pool my family has ever purchased! I think it’s largely to do with the filter it comes with. Instead of using sand, I ordered the washable filter balls. The water has stayed totally clear, it’s been easy to manage chemicals, and my family has gotten so much use out of it! From swimming around and playing with my kids, to floating with my kindle and reading, I am so happy with this purchase! ... show more
