Crystal Clear Glue Sticks That Really Hold These AdTech crystal clear hot glue sticks have been a great match for my full-size glue gun. They melt down evenly, spread smoothly, and set quickly without leaving behind the cloudy residue I’ve seen with cheaper sticks. The finish is truly clear, which makes a difference on projects where the glue lines show—like when attaching beads, trimming fabric, or reinforcing clear plastics. I’ve run them through quite a few crafts now, from scrapbooking to fixing small household items, and they’ve held up well. Bonds feel secure on wood, fabric, cardboard, and light plastics. They’re also short enough (4 inches) to be easy to load, though if you’re working on a larger project, you’ll go through them fairly quickly—so having a 50-count bag is handy. A small note: like most hot glue, this is best for light- to medium-duty applications. It’s not a substitute for epoxy or construction adhesive, so I wouldn’t lean on it for anything load-bearing. But for arts and crafts, decorations, or quick fixes, it’s exactly what I want—clear, clean, and consistent. These glue sticks have officially become the fuel for my crafting addiction. They melt smoothly, bond quickly, and I’ve yet to have one jam in my glue gun. I’ve gone through enough of these to qualify for a frequent crafter rewards program. Update: they were right. I was wrong! It is crystal clear if you use it at a lower temperature. It now works as I wanted. Changed my rating because of this. Not "crystal clear" which is why I bought it in the first place. I wanted clear, not vaguely translucent.
