  • Great Product!!
I’m really impressed with this hot tub. I’ve owned it for about 3 months now. It has been one of my favorite purchases. It is so nice to have a hot soak whenever you feel like it. Build- Very sturdy, quality product. Both the tub and the inflatable cover are great. I did have one of the plastic buckles break on the cover when I over tightened it. I plan to replace the clasp, the strap is still great. No big deal. I’m impressed with how sturdy the walls are. I weigh 250lbs and can sit on the wall without any fear of collapse. The filters, pump and heater work well. The heating element is not super powerful. It has been dropping below freezing at night here in Coastal Virginia. It was able to maintain 103-104° until recent drop in air temp. It struggles a bit to stay over 100°. Also there is a auto shut off function of the heater runs for 72hrs straight. That is annoying. I guess it is there to prolong the heater life though. Twice recently I’ve come out and the display reads “END” and the water has dropped below 70°. After reading the manual I found out is due to the 72hr auto shut off. Now I keep a closer eye on it during sun freezing temps. I’ll unplug it for a few minutes then plug it back in. I hope that will reset the timer and keep it running hot. Seems to be working. The bubbles are pretty cool. I don’t use them often though. I’m usually not a fan of the jets in any hot tub. I prefer still quiet water to relax. Cleaning and maintenance is easy. I got a hand pump hot tub vacuum. I make a whirlpool and all the dirt goes to the middle at the bottom. I can suck it all up with just a few pumps. I take a water sample to the pool store ever feel weeks and they tell me how to keep the chemicals balanced. It’s pretty simple. I add about 2tbsp of nonchlorine sanitizer powder after each use and shock it with a 2tbsp chlorine shock powder once or twice a week. That’s about it. They recommend a water change every 3 to 4 months. I just did my first one. It was easy. Drain, wipe, refill, shock, relax. ... show more

  • Good price for a well built inflatable tub.
Fellow shoppers - just want to share my good experience with this tub. A few points: Affordable for a hot tub Tub seems durable. Even though it's inflatable, it is rigid enough for 3-4 to sit on the edge/top of the tub. Motor leaked upon arrival. Opened it up and a plastic tube was tighten too much. Had to super glue it back together. This tube isn't a regular size so can't easily get it from hardware store. Also the package is heavy and a PITA to take it out of the box. Didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. But after the fix it hasn't leaked. Bubble is nice but loud. Don't turn it on often because of that. The bubble also cools the water, just noticed they have a water jet version that recycles water for slightly higher cost of that interests you. Suggest getting 303 vinyl protector if you have it outside. Keeps it nice, shiny and protects from UV. Took 3 hours to fill and 4 hours to drain. It's too much of an all day affair so bought a sub-$40 used submersible pump to speed up the draining. Got a Frog Spa auto dispense bromine and mineral filter. Checked chemical frequently and seems to be doing its job. The chair you from Intex is only good if you're short... I'd supposed anyway but a guest whose 5'5" doesn't like it. Most who used tub don't prefer it and now I only use it as a leg rest while in the tub :). Takes a long time to heat up. Give it 24 hours at least unless it's freezing. Won't dock off points as I knew this going in. Can fit 6 but tight. Had to cross our legs but we still used it for an hour plus. For most average person if you're alone you can stretch your leg. Only have this for 2 weeks so only time will tell if this'll last me a good 2 years to make the price worth it. Will buy again if it lasts that long. Otherwise might invest in an actual acrylic hot tub. Will update this post if it fails. Overall it's great having my own little oasis in the backyard at a reasonable price. The dark blue looks nice. Doesn't look cheap. I'm now sold on having a hot tub for life! This is a great starter tub to see if you'll use it. A year later: 9/9/18 update. It’s been sitting outside collecting dust. Washed it out today to get ready for the season. The tub is still holding strong... no leak, filter and tank still working. ... show more

  • I feel really bad that spent $$$ to error code in 7 months
The installation was super easy and my wife and I enjoyed it while it lasted, we really did. We've had it for 7 months now and it quit on us. I really wish I had never bought it now. We did all due diligence, kept it clean, filters change, proper chemicals and all. We did our part, it didn't do its. Some things to consider to help you in your purchase decision. #1- Just a slight (and i really do mean a slight) "clogged" filter will throw an E90 error code- virtually every month. We kept ours spotless, and the sensor onboard to no doubt protect the pump is so sensitive its unreal. #2- Filters are expensive, get ready to pay. #3- A quick online search reveals this thing has internal design issues that will require ongoing repairs like the pump itself and the impeller shaft to name a few so I recommend checking those out as well. #4- You get what you pay for and in this case I feel I should have at least got to enjoy it for a couple of years- I took care of this thing. #5- I like hot tubs that maintain their temperature better than this. After 12 minutes it just feels like a warm bath with some bubbles. #6- The bubbles are really not that strong even though the videos look like they are. I personally like a good massage and this just didn't quite do the job. #7- Expect about 2 days for it to heat up to enjoy. My personal take- Its not worth it to me unless I just wanted it for a month at a campground and had the cash to burn. I recommend spending a little more to buy an actual hot tub.
