I got the 6 person octagonal with the energy efficient cover. It was easy to setup. The bubbles churn the water more than I expected and is very nice. If you sit up straight close to the side the bubbles will go up your back and it feels like a massage. My wife had a friend that had an inflatable and the bottom was hard and uncomfortable so she feared this would be too. Fortunately she was wrong and happy to be wrong. The pad that goes under it is basically bubble wrap with a plastic backing that doesn't really provide any cusioning so I think its more to protect the bottom of the actual tub. I put it by my small concrete back porch and my yard is graded slightly towards the house so it wasn't perfectly level; however when you're sitting in the tub you can't tell the difference. After a few days of not having purchased any chemicals yet the water got cloudy so I decided to empty it and turn it around 180 degrees so that the pump unit was in the corner by the porch and house instead of in the yard. I'll need to attach a hose to the drain spout though but that's not a big deal. The only complaint I have is the cover is very heavy and is a struggle to put on and take off. I had to let a little air out of the tub for it to go down the sides. But this is a very minor inconvenience. I don't stretch it all around the tub properly for now and don't really plan to until the weather gets cold and its time to winterize it. Best $700 dollar purchase I've made in a long time.

So, thank you, Intex, for honoring our warranty, in Oct/Nov in Michigan...we've been trying to set it up now in April. You replaced our tub that had NO holes but, a NON-working filter with a tub that has TWO holes AND still...a NON-working filter. How do you stay in business?? So, we received the octagonal Intex bubbler. Chose Intex again as we really loved the first one. Well, the second one's inflatable lid had leaks/no over-cover to batten it down and proved to be useless. Plus, only ONE intake worked, which renders the second useless as only one filter is not sufficient to keep the water clean. Well, Intex was emailed, from their site, using the form that had to be filled out and, I never was contacted. Such a shame everyone has great things to say about customer service...of course, if you are a first time buyer, then, it appears you get preference. Repeat customers, who used to rave about Intex bubblers, get shafted. So wrong. So, now our friends get steered away from Intex and are happy with their Coleman product.

Bought this to replace my old one that's finally, after five years, starting to die. For $400 it's a great value. I keep it filled and running year-round in our basement. I run a dehumidifier, but it's covered when not used so the humidity is not a problem. I also put a towel down to stand on when getting out to keep the carpet dry. It's sturdy, the cover is insulated well, and the air jets create plenty of agitation to sooth aching muscles. After owning one, I'll never go without. It's the best feeling on a cold morning! Very relaxing.

Have had it now 10 months . And - admittedly; I have truly enjoyed it. I would advise owning a dozen filters and keeping them rotated every use. It really helps maintain the water quality and chemical balance . Have had it outdoors and indoors . A delight. In retrospect - unless one just HAD to hide their unit in a super tight space ; I would never advise anybody to get a four person unit. Mine - a six person unit only ever used by me ( 5’11”) is just enough to feel big enough. MY BIG QUESTION : ( ## and please feel free to respond to my review or comment yourself upon THIS ISSUE ) After running a few days - it became very apparent that the second further filter unit within the hot tub does very little to nothing -as far as providing any suction or filtering for the entirety of the hot tub. So immediately, I thought that my hot tub was faulty, or that the draw of the filtering system was damaged or reduced in a way that the water was not being filtered properly. That said ; upon monitoring your chemicals and changing the filters - my water DOES stay clean and fresh. But it is markedly obvious that the second filter does not do a 10th of the job at the filter closest to the motor actually does. The actual paper filter that you were use in the second filter housing almost never, if ever needs to be switched out due to such lack of suction occurring. This bothered me so much that I called Intex one day to speak to their customer service line. Just to make certain that I did not have a faulty unit and needed to return it. As one can discover here amongst the comments speaking with the Intex customer service line is an endeavor That very rarely produces great customer service experience. The young woman I spoke with last September, or October assured me that the only reason that there was even a second filter within the unit was solely based on California’s safety requirements of having a certain number of filters within hot tubs of a certain quantity of water held within. *** now….. it would seem that to mean that those filters should be operationally working, the same if a requirement. But that is definitely not the case here. So, if what she told me was true; the second filtering unit is just a ruse as a means to produce the hot tub in California and sell it therein. So my question to the rest of the owners out there is this; does your second filter system do nearly nothing as well? And here again; my system seems to be working fine, and the water is able to be kept clean. I really do enjoy my Intex hot tub; but I have to believe that it has a shelflife somewhere less than 10 years. I just wrote that with my fingers crossed.
