A really nice portable hot tub for 4 adults
Size: 4 Person
We have bought Intex products and pools for years. They make quality products and have excellent customer service. This wasn't too hard to install, and it appears very durable. I love that this is inflatable so that it can be moved. It comes with a cover, and I like the way it looks. The hot tub holds 4 people, and the water flow was good. It didn't take long to heat up. This runs on a saltwater system. I am pleased with this item.

Hot take on our new hot tub
Size: 4 Person
I ordered this portable hot tub because I wanted the hot tub experience without committing to concrete, wiring, permits, or long conversations with an electrician. The idea of something I could inflate, plug into a standard outlet, and use the same day was appealing. This PureSpa hits that goal pretty well. Setup is straightforward. You inflate the tub, fill it with water, plug it into a dedicated 120-volt outlet, and control everything from the included control unit. The insulated cover is not just a throw-in. It actually matters. Leaving it on when the tub isn’t in use helps a lot with heat retention and energy use. The tub itself is comfortable once filled, and while it says four people, that’s realistic only if everyone is friendly. Two adults is ideal. Three is workable but weird. Four I don't even want to talk about. The heating system is where expectations matter. I know other reviews have mentioned how long it takes to heat the water, but this tub uses a built-in PTC heating element designed to run safely on household power. ***That means it heats slowly but steadily.*** You’re not getting instant hot water. In normal conditions, expect the temperature to rise a couple of degrees per hour. From cold tap water to soaking temperature can take many hours, sometimes most of a day. Once it’s hot, it does a decent job maintaining temperature, especially if you keep the cover on. As far as energy cost goes, Intex doesn’t publish exact wattage, but similar inflatable spas typically use around 1.5 to 2 kilowatts while heating. As a rough estimate, running a 1.5 kW heater for eight hours uses about 12 kWh. At an average electricity rate, that’s roughly two dollars for a long heat-up session. Colder weather or frequent reheating will push that higher. The smaller heating element isn’t really more efficient. It just heats more slowly. The total energy required to warm the water is similar. The real efficiency gains come from insulation and keeping heat from escaping, which is why the cover matters so much. Once the water is warm, the bubble jets are relaxing and do what they’re supposed to do. This isn’t a high-pressure massage spa, but it’s comfortable, especially on cooler evenings. Maintenance is manageable. Filters need regular cleaning, and water chemistry still matters, but it’s simpler than a permanent spa. The system is also saltwater-ready if you want to go that route. This hot tub works best if you plan ahead and understand what it is. It’s portable, consumer-grade, and designed for convenience rather than instant performance. If you’re patient with heating and realistic about power limits, it delivers a genuinely pleasant soak.

Intex Customer Service is awful….

Note “Salt Water Ready” means order the electrode for the system to work. Customer Service at Intex has ALOT to learn, awful.

Nice starter hot tub, just don’t expect fast heating or true 4-person space
Size: 4 Person
Overall I do like this hot tub and it’s been a good addition, but I think expectations need to be realistic going in. A lot of people complain about heating time, but you’re heating a large amount of water, so it’s obviously not going to happen instantly. We filled it during the day and by the next day it was up to temperature and ready to use without any issues. The build quality is solid for what it is. It holds its shape well and doesn’t feel flimsy once it’s set up. Setup itself is pretty straightforward and everything works as it should. Where it falls a little short is the size and value. It’s advertised as a 4-person tub, but realistically it’s more comfortable for two people, maybe three if you don’t mind being a little tight. We tried it with our two kids and it definitely felt cramped. For just my wife and I, it’s a perfect size. The other downside is the price. It works well and we’ve enjoyed it, but it doesn’t really feel much better than some of the cheaper options out there, which makes it a little harder to justify at the higher price point. In the end, it’s a nice entry-level hot tub that does what it’s supposed to do, makes bubbles, heats up and lets me relax just go in knowing it takes time to heat and it’s best suited for one or two adults.

Inflatable Hot Tub by INTEX
Size: 4 Person
This hot tub was relatively quick to set up, easy to operate, and I definitely enjoy the bubbles. However, it’s quite cramped for four people and takes quite a while to heat up. We have been debating whether or not we wanted to commit to a hot tub. It’s something I have always wanted but just couldn’t bring myself to buy. So when this was available, we saw it as the perfect opportunity to test whether or not a hot tub would be for us. This is the perfect starter hot tub for those on the fence about getting one. This is also perfect for those that would not want a hot tub operational all year round as this can be deflated and stored during the winter. After a relatively painless set up and the tedious nature of adding the water, the first thing you will observe is just how long it is going to take to heat up the water to the desired temperature. Just as every other reviewer is saying, you will need to plan in advance before you use this hot tub. This does come with a cover and does a decent job of retaining heat, but you will still want to plan ahead before you use it. The material seems durable. This is my first hot tub, so I’m not an expert, but the shape didn’t falter and the sides seem durable enough that this shouldn’t deflate on you unless something really sharp punctures it. The biggest issue I have is just how much room there is. While this claims to be big enough for four people, it’s really more like two if you want to sit comfortably. This is great for me and my partner, but when another couple comes over for a soak, you are jammed in there pretty tightly. Finally, the reason this is getting five stars from me (other than there being no catastrophic issues or other major problems) is that this can be easily taken down which is important for us. We live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and the winters get REALLY cold. Financially, it just doesn’t make sense to run this during the entire winter. So we deflated it and stored it away for late spring and summer. Overall, this is a perfect starter hot tub for anyone not really sure if a hot tub is for you. It’s easy to set up and is perfect for a couple. This also can be taken down and stored away if you aren’t planning on using it all year round which we found to be a very beneficial feature. We have not had any catastrophic issues and I will change my review if one occurs. Otherwise, I am satisfied with this hot tub.

Durable, High-Quality Relaxation for the Long Haul
Size: 4 Person
Intex is a well-known name for a reason, and this PureSpa model is another testament to their reputation. The build quality is excellent; the material is thick and durable, clearly designed to withstand the elements and last for many seasons of use. It feels much more substantial than your average inflatable, providing a sturdy and comfortable environment. The included energy-efficient spa cover is a fantastic addition, helping to maintain water temperature and keep debris out when not in use. Whether you are looking for a simple way to unwind or a more permanent fixture for your outdoor space, this is a great inflatable spa that delivers a premium experience without the hassle of a permanent installation.
