  • Huge fan of this pool. At this price, we plan to break it twice doing cannonballs!
Size: 10FT x 30IN
This 10 ft kids pool is an absolute backyard legend. The kids are convinced they’ve joined the Olympic swim team, though honestly, it’s mostly splashing, shrieking, and trying to turn the whole thing into a giant bathtub. A couple of hoses have developed tiny leaks—think of them as “extra water features” that keep the lawn greener than it has any right to be. It’s basically a self-watering pool-slash-garden combo, which is an accidental genius move on my part. And the best news? No one’s drowned yet. I’m considering that a major parenting victory and definitely worth five stars. Setup was surprisingly easy—no PhD in pool engineering required—and it’s held up against everything from wild cannonballs over the sides to my dog’s suspiciously wet paws from the leaks. If you want a cheap way to keep the kids entertained, cooled off, and slightly soggy, this is your pool. ... show more

  • Yes. Buy it.
Size: 18FT x 48IN
I'm one that needs a pool. Grew up with one and like to dip as much as I can. This is my second Intex 18' pool. The first I bought from Walmart 5 years ago. It was the exact same product. Thanks to a deer jumping on my folded pool in winter, I needed a new one. Really folks, this is a no brainer. Under $500 gets you a pretty decent setup. I've tried different filters and ladders but the way it comes is perfect. You need to make sure you stay on top of your filter cleanings or this particular filter pump will clog up. I reuse 3 filters and am always soaking two in hydrochloric acid in a bucket. I change them about every 4 days. Or treat yourself and upgrade to the intex 2500 gph pump with the large B sized filters. You can get two weeks out of those before they need to be cleaned and you'll get a more powerful flow on your return too. My old pool had a slow leak in the air ring and I had to fill it every day. It was still worth it. So being this one holds the air perfect, I am relieved. Do not over fill the air ring. A hot day will expand the air in the ring and it'll pop. You want it to breathe in and out with the temperature, if that makes sense. So when it's colder at night, it looks a little deflated. But it's not. I will note my filter pump broke within 2 weeks but the company sent me a new one no questions asked. So customer service is pretty good here. I'm not sure why it was broken but I have had a few of these pumps and they seem to chug along just fine. If I have any advice (I live in South USA), make sure to use your cover. The first two years I did not use it regularly. I came to realize using the cover helps the chlorine last longer and it seems to block algae growth. Our water is crystal clear because we cover it every day. We also use a tube in the middle of the pool under the cover to help the cover float above the water. Makes it easy to put on and off from inside the pool. I can't really explain how much satisfaction you'll get from this. You need to see it setup in your yard to see the quality of the material they use for the pool. It's mind blowing it all holds together. But it does. ... show more

  • Pregnant mommy needing summer relief. Pool busted too soon but was nice for 5 days.
Size: 12FT x 30IN
The picture I'm sharing is how my pool looked after 5 days of being put up. Yes, you are seeing a completely drained pool in the process of being taken down to return to Amazon. I'm five months pregnant and I bought this pool to help get me through a summer pregnancy. My feet swell up like balloons anytime I try to walk for more than 15 minutes, I've got carpal tunnel in my hands, and I've gained so much baby weight I can barely walk. I sought out a cheap pool that would last a few years just to get the relief of feeling weightless in water. I saw this pool and thought it would be awesome because I'm 4'11" in height and the pool looked short enough for me to get in with little trouble. Setting up the pool was pretty easy. The instructions have a DVD you can watch to see setup filmed out. The DVD I got was faulty and when I put it in two different DVD players, my laptop, and my PS3 it made them make this loud whirling sound that DVD players shouldn't make. The DVD never worked but thankfully it was on youtube and I watched there. Even though I'm five months pregnant and can't move well because of my baby belly, I was able to put this pool together in a few hours. I didn't want to purchase the intex air pump so I cut off the top off a water bottle, duck taped it onto a hair drier, turned it on cold and used that to fill up the air tube. Filled it up really quickly. Be careful to ensure the surface is level. I had what really looked like a level surface but ended up having one side higher than the other. Because one side ended up lower, the pool never filled up on one side completely. In the deepest end, when I sat down the water reached my upper arms. For a pregnant woman this pool was wonderful while it lasted. It had just enough of a deepness that I could float and get the relief I needed. It was just deep enough I could actually swim around but could also sit and lounge to relax. The pool is small enough that the sun would heat the water a bit so that it was like taking a comfy bath outside. The pool came with a pool cover. I put it on at night and during the early morning hours it would heat the top of the pool water to keep it from being too cold when I swam in the evening. Unfortunately, I only got to get in 4 times before it busted somehow and all the water leaked out. I don't know what happened or where the leak started. One day the pool was nice and full and the next morning the pool was almost empty. All the filter and drain plugs were in tight. The air tube was fine and inflated fully. When I left the pool the day before there were no signs of leaks. I spent a good 5 hours trying to figure it out. There were no animals or children around. I was the only one using the pool and I just floated in it with no rough play. I looked everywhere around for the leak but couldn't figure it out. The pool was only up for 5 days. I'm so disappointed. Being pregnant and having to take the pool down and pack it up in 90 degree heat to return it was no easy task. I had a good, hormonal pregnant cry because I was so miserable losing the one thing that could give me relief from a rough pregnancy. If the pool hadn't busted it would have been a great relief from a hot summer for a pregnant woman. The plastic used to make the walls of the pool don't seem tough or thick enough to withstand much of a puncture which is what I think happened. It either had a factory defect or something during the night must have punctured a small hole somewhere in the walls of the pool. The air tube at the top also didn't seem to thick. Even though it kept inflated, when heated in the hot summer sun, it felt flimsy and thin. I'm sure a minor prick of something could easily pop it. After swimming and working hard putting it together I can tell you the pool isn't that high in quality. I'd spring for a more expensive, better quality pool over this one any day. I don't want another pool like this one. It wasn't worth all the work my suffering pregnant body had to go through to put it up to have it break so quickly. ... show more

  • Great pool for price, needs sand filter
Size: 15FT x 48IN
We have had this pool since 2023. It worked good taking it up and down. The blow up ring finally got a hole in it from a storm. We did notice the ring was already losing air and the ring plastic did get hard and brittle from the cover being on with the sun cooking it this year. We had a lot of 90F days. This was a great kit that lasted 3 summers. The price was right and the ladder is still going strong. My only recommendation is that you get a sand filter. The paper filter would have to be cleaned or changed multiple times a day. The bonus to the pool cover being black is that it heats up the water so we didn't need a pool heater. ... show more
