Does the job! Clear pool water.
This is my 4th generator over many years. This new modes started making chlorine and cleared the pool up within a week. Very happy to have one working again. I am in Florida and when I don't use it pool turns green in a few days. Highly recommended. I use a solar pool ionizer with it and never j=need to add any chemicals.

Almost perfect except for the programming features
I am loving this Intex chlorinator. Easy to use. The ozone feature is fantastic. Been using it for two months and so far so good. Crystal clear water and chlorine levels adequate. I am not giving it 5 starts because they can barely be programmed. On/off, amount of hours running, that is all. If there is a power cut, it gets desynchronized, so you need an external timer/controller. I know these are low cost, but nowadays adding a small micro-controller and making these an IoT device is extremely cheap and would increase the value of the product by a lot.

You get what you pay for
Very disappointed. This was my second chlorine generator. This one lasted less than one full season. It flashes high salt. Had our water test only thing off is chlorine. This one was a waste of money.

Works Great - Could benefit from 1 additional feature
It works well. The system has an internal 24-hour system. So when you set it, it will restart every day thereafter at the same time. This is great, I just wish that it had some type of internal clock system. If it did, I could set it to start at, say, 10:00 a.m., and then if the system loses power or if I need to stop it temporarily, it would know to restart the next day at 10:00 a.m. It would additionally be nice if when the system loses power, it maintained the time so that when the power is restored, it wouldn't need to be reset. It's a minor complaint. Otherwise, I am really happy I purchased it.

Our pool is crystal clear.
This is the second Intex chlorinator I have bought. The first one work for about 2 seasons an start giving me low salt indications with the salt level 3200 ppm. Had to by pass it to get it to work. The this season the clear housing cracked. No parts are available. Go figure. I bought this one as a replacement. I've had it for almost 3 month an its working great. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will last.
