My best friend just bought one and we loved it, so we bought one too!! It has easily been the best investment we have made for our backyard! We were initially intimidated by the massive 36ft x 18ft size, but the included instructions were incredibly easy to follow and straightforward. The parts fit together perfectly, making it surprisingly smooth build with a couple of people. You can tell immediately that this is a durable product. The puncture-resistant liner and rust resistant frame feel heavy duty and designed to last for years. The absolute best part of this pool set is the new salt water system. We are very excited for our new pool! This is our second pool purchase from Intex. They have always made an amazing product and we will continue to return to them with our business. After years with our first pool, we are excited to upgrade to the 36 ft and salt water system! Two of us put it together in just a few hours. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The pieces fit together easily and smoothly. My wife and I assembled it together very easily. Make sure you have a clear and level spot laid out first. The ground liner and pool liner are tough and very durable for the high use our 2 sons and their friends put on the pool. The salt water system is a great upgrade that they now offer. So much more efficient and cleaner than sand. So much healthier on our skin then chlorine. Routine cleaning will be so much more practical as well. We love that is also came with a ground cloth, pool cover, vacuum brush and volleyball set!

I was very excited about this purchase given the size of the pool. My hope was that it would be great entertainment for the entire family; unfortunately, that is not the case. After completing all of the prep work and leveling out the sand base, I unboxed the pool to see that the liner had a hole in it. The way the liner was packaged, the pool valve pressed against the liner and made a hole in it. I reached out to Amazon, but they said they couldn't assist and that I would need to reach out to Intex. After reaching out to Intex, they approved my claim for a replacement liner - this was in the middle of May. While the claim has been approved, they told me that the liner is out of stock and that they don't know when they will have it again. This means that the entire summer could go by without me being able to use this item. While I accept shipping accidents, I figured for this amount of money, that Amazon or Intex would help me with my situation. I am very dissapointed since after making this big purchase, I still do not have the product I paid for and I don't even have an idea of when I could possibly receive a replacement. Be warned about the Intex customer service. This is a word for word response from the Intex customer service regarding a replacement: "We are pleased to inform you that your claim has been processed and approved. However, we regret to inform you that your replacement has not been shipped out because the item is currently out of stock. We are unable to provide an estimated time of arrival at this time. Once we receive the necessary inventory, we will ship your replacement as soon as possible. Please accept our sincere apology for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience. We are so sorry that the order has been delayed bc it's out of stock .And we don't have ETA so that we can't guarantee when this item will be shipped out. So sorry for any inconvenience. Have a good day."

This is the larger pool… and to make it larger the manufacturer simply adds more sections to the length. Excellent. But those sections were added between the ports for the pump system… so the spacing between the ports is further apart and the pump system doesn’t come with proper amount of hoses or hose lengths to setup the way it was intended. We had to purchase more attachments to make it work. Not ready for use. Otherwise we are happy with the size of the pool, and the salt water filter works excellent. Must buy a durable solar cover though. The top cover and ground cloth it comes with especially for this price are completely low quality and inadequate. Lastly the ladder is easy to assemble but even with careful following of instructions and appropriate tightening of all fasteners the ladder is very flimsy… not a good long term solution to entry and exit from the pool.

I am so so happy we took the leap and upgraded to this 36’x18’ from our old 24’x12’!! It’s huge! The grandkids have been growing the last few years, the old pool was becoming a tight squeeze. I thought the listing for this pool on Amazon was a mistake, the largest pool I had seen was 32’x16’. I looked on the Intex website and this size was not listed. So I called. A representative told me it was a new special size being offered on Amazon only at this time. So I took a leap of faith and ordered it! It had to be delivered by a trucking company and that had to be scheduled, went fine. Setting up an Intex pool is not a quick and easy process if you do it right. We had my son come level and pack the new expanded area with his Bobcat and asphalt roller. We laid down the included tarp and new 3/4” foam sheets and duct taped them together just like we did for the old pool. Next I spread corn starch on top of the foam boards to help the pool slide into place easier. We had pressure treated boards cut to size for footers to go under the pool legs. The water truck arrived and after 5 loads of spring water we were in business! Check out the kid in the air in the last photo! Best decision for a great summer ahead! If you have the room, get the pool!
