I’m really excited for this pool upgrade! Our previous pools have been cheap inflatable ones that constantly ended up deflating due to leaks at the seams. Now that our girls are older, I wanted a pool that they would all enjoy and actually be able to use and with our sensitive skin, I wanted one that wasn’t so harsh for our skin even if they want to swim in it daily (The community pool is always over chlorinated causing eye and skin irritation for my kiddos). My first impression was the size of the box and the equipment that was needed to get it delivered. You’ll definitely need help moving it where you need it to go, or will need to remove everything from the box so you can move it in sections. The pool liner seems like high quality and durable materials. The anti-rust supports are also thoughtfully designed so we will be able to enjoy this pool for years to come. Almost everything you need for a pool comes included, which was super convenient for my family to be able to set up and use almost immediately without having to buy extra items. Included are a ladder, cover, ground cloth, maintenance kit, pump/filter, and even a volleyball set. The sand filter is a big step up from cartridge filters and a huge plus. The saltwater system is also a bonus. It’s much gentler for our sensitive skin and eyes than chlorine and easier to maintain. The girls love pool time and this gives us a much more accessible (and sanitary) option compared to our neighborhood pool! Overall, this seems like a higher-end above-ground pool option that includes everything you need to get started.

INTEX is a terribly inflexible company to order from. I accidentally ordered a replacement pool liner last night and there is no way to cancel the order online. So I called this morning and their customer service will not let me cancel the order either. It is absolutely ridiculous that they won’t let you cancel an order within 24 hrs and when the product isn’t even shipped yet. They are charging over $500 in shipping which is more than the liner itself! Don’t buy from them!!!

Saltwater systems use electrolysis to convert salt into a consistent, low level of chlorine automatically, while freshwater pools require manual addition of chlorine tablets or granules. Lower Maintenance The system automatically generates chlorine, significantly reducing the need for frequent manual chemical testing and addition. Cons: Required Upgrades Space Requirements: Be warned, this is a large pool and is going to require a lot of room for this size of a pool. Make sure you have a flat, level area available before you purchase. Ladder Upgrade Recommended: The included ladder is functional but definitely on the flimsier side. You'll likely want to upgrade the included ladder with a more sturdy ladder for added safety and comfort, especially for adults. Maintenance Kit Upgrade: While a basic maintenance kit may be included, the vacuum is a simple garden-hose-powered version. To keep the water truly sparkling with minimal effort, you will also want to upgrade the maintenance kit with a self driven submersible vacuum or a robotic cleaner for efficiency. Unfortunately, right after receiving the pool, we ended up with a substantial snowstorm that netted 12 inches of snow. So I've not been able to unpack everything and put the pool up, obviously, because it's winter. I am absolutely looking forward to late spring and getting this pool set up and enjoying it. As soon as I get it set up I'm going to get pictures and post them. Box measurements: 33.5" X 20" X 60" The boxes are very heavy to move with just one person, but it is doable. With the help of my brother-in-law and sister, we were able to get them off the sidewalk and into storage for winter. Despite the need for a few accessory upgrades, the pool itself provides excellent value for endless summer enjoyment. Highly recommended!
